It will sell tickets due to acts like Bassnectar, but I can't blame anyone for quitting this shit show. Considering the "hype" around Okee growing this year, this is a flaming turd of a lineup.

I guess they could still have Tame Impala as the main second wave artist. But fuck me, no Arcade Fire. It's like that Allstate commercial with the old dude and the fishing line he yanks away with a dollar on it. I just wanted arcade Fire. You can have nectar and al the other garbage. Instead you pooped out Kings of Leon. Probably the worst sub I could have imagined.

Could still be good things coming but I can't imagine anything that they will bill higher than the first two. So no Arcade Fire, or anything that would generally qualify as a headliner. Maybe Chance and Tame Impala are yet to come though.

Agreed. Some of the best acts of the weekend were added to the lineup after the initial release last year. I'd like to think they're still holding something back, for whatever reason.
I'm interested to see what's up. I'm not going because a) it's the weekend before Buku, and b) I don't want to be somewhere with a police precinct on site. The lineup isn't nearly as bad as people are bitching about, if it's real, and I'll obviously give my thoughts. But I think people overreact. OMG! This is the worst lineup evar! This suxxors! Probably many of those people don't even know 75-80% of the acts. This will be Phase 1, and obviously Phase 2 last year did add some significant names. I wouldn't write it off so fast, but that's my opinion. One or some of my kids will be going.
Yeah, there's no way that is it as far as big artist. I'll wait until the other waves to drop before passing full judgement. Isn't good off of a first look though.

I'm not travelling, but I'd see any of those acts if they came to New Orleans (and have) and would completely go if it wasn't 13 hours away.
Only shit I don't like (that I know) are Kings of Leon, Rae Sremmurd, Young the Giant, Bleachers, Snakehips, Louis the Child.
I'm also wondering if "Russ" is Russ Liquid Experiment or some other version of Russ Liquid. I'm guessing not since it just says "Russ" but Russ Liquid rules.
