Jack White - Tool - LCD Soundsystem - Beck - Alt J - Major Lazer - Pretty Lights - A$AP Rocky - Willie Nelson
Based on last year I think they go heavier with the rap/hip hop and EDM. And pop even. Nobody seemed to bother to show up to most of the rock and other acts from what I understand. I feel like this will become Hangout East. Need to feed the Floridians what they want if it's going to survive. I'll make some edits....
RHCP - The Weeknd - LCD Soundsystem - Jack U - Ellie Goulding - The Chainsmokers - A$AP Rocky - Willie Nelson - Cage the Elephant

Yours is a bit more realistic. Ellie Goulding is going on hiatus after her current tour though. Doubt she'll be there. Maybe swap her for HAIM or something?
Cant see Skrillex coming back so soon either, even with Jack U. Pretty Lights seems like a shoe in to me.

Yeah, the rock acts were surprisingly dead. I walked up to the SuperJam like 20 minutes before it started and I was on the railing.

realistically, Arcade Fire - J. Cole (who i enjoy more than most people on this bord) - Beck - Pretty Lights - Tame Impala - Flume - Chance The Rapper would definitely get me there.

Please no J Cole but the rest of that list would be great.
Win Butler & Tom Morello were both heavily involved (both did DJ sets along with SuperJam appearances) last year so i'd assume it wouldn't be far-fetched to see Arcade Fire & Prophets of Rage

Is there any reason to believe Tame Impala will be active next year after touring heavily in 2015 and 2016? At that point, they will be nearly two years removed from the release of Currents. Same thing for Jamie xx, but also because he will be busy touring with The xx.

While I love that mock, I am a little concerned that this fest is going to go in a completely different direction from acts like Beck and Tame Impala, or even a band like Arcade Fire in favor of a lineup solely based on EDM and commercial hip-hop.
cant do hangout next year so ill be considering this one next year. Why are people mocking Willie though? I feel like his ACL appearance is a one off unless im missing news of im staying active?

I'm guessing he fits the "Legend/Oldhead" slot where Robert Plant fit this year.

He played Peach Fest last year. I thought it was incredible.
Heard a rumor they're aiming for Arcade Fire to headline, which would make sense since Win was there this year.
This would make skipping Voodoo so much easier. And maybe 2 sets of Lotus again.
Okeechobee, SXSW, Levitation, Wakarusa for Spring/Summer 2017.
Quit trying to skip Voodoo. You know we will have you drooling and gurgling as many days as you are willing to hang. It's the most party city fest on the planet. But you're (we're?) not getting 2 Lotus sets at Okee. That was a one off based on a cancellation. Luckily there was a promotion who understood that Lotus, and only Lotus, is that good now. And not-necessarily Lotus fans got blown away by the night show. They are playing Bear Creek Bayou, so if I may be rude to a personal friend, zipper up that vagina, go to ACL weekend 1, Bear Creek and then Voodoo/Hula and you have your fall masters degree.
I'd be heartbroken if they go more EDM/RAP. Okeechobee is simply amazing.
? ? ? That's 60% of the Top 20 acts. I'm fn lost.
Kendrick, Skrillex and Bassnectar were 3 of the top 4 (75%). Add Odesza and that's 4 of the Top 6 are rap or EDM (67%). Line 3 is 2 of 4 (Future and Miguel). Line 4 has Fetty, Big Grams and Mac Miller (3 of 4). Line 5 has Big Gigantic, Joey Badass and RL Grime (3 of 5). So I have to ask what was the problem with rap and EDM which more or less dominated (along with some rock, folk and indie) Okeechobee 2016??? I have to be missing something.
