I don't know that they necessarily fit in there but I'm not sure where to put them so I'll put say it here: Chromeo. they are working on a new album and have been doing festivals steadily this past year. Best concert I may have ever been to so I'd love to see them again.
I'd love to see them. Hopefully their new album is better than the last. I love the rest of their material though.
I'd be really surprised if Kygo weren't the top EDM next year. He's so fucking popular with teenagers and early 20's. He'll probably make the second line.
That would fit the Bonnaroo theme of booking EDM acts 2 years too late.

There are a few tracks that I'm not as high on with that album but overall I like it. I saw them here at Newport Music Hall and it's easily the best concert I've seen in that venue.

That's awesome. I need to make it to a show at NMH all my friends say it's really sweet. How does it compare to the LC (or express live they call it now)?

Personally, it's my favorite venue in Columbus. It's definitely kind of run down to a degree but just the layout and feel of it is awesome. I like Express Live (the outdoor shows are amazing) but the layout sometimes leaves a little to be desired if you are in the pit and trying to leave to use the restroom and you have people stacked around the exit area.
I saw Saint Motel at A&R a few weeks back. Really cool vibe of like a house party feel but it gets so damn hot in there when it's sold out I damn near passed out.

Was that around October 2014? That concert was fuckin amazing.

Yeah! That's the one I was talking about! SOOOOOOOOO AWESOME!
I was just jumping on here to post about this. Their new stuff is going to be amazing. I have a sliver of hope that is Bonnaroo booked someone like LCD that they would consider booking Justice. I feel those types of audiences are somewhat similar?

I have hope that if we had MSTRKRFT, Boys Noize, Darkside and Tiesto when he was still great and Bob Moses there may be a shot at a booking like that. We seem to get atleast one really great electronic act each year.

I'd think Bonnaroo would try to book them. It'd be silly if they didn't

I had a conflict and couldn't go this year (after seeing the entire lineup I wasn't AS bummed as I thought I would be but was pretty depressed when watching the live steam) but the Bob Moses booking was the one thing that I REALLY regretted not being able to see. I would love Justice. I think we could get them over Coachella too.

I can't see Justice being at Bonnaroo but not Coachella. Either they'll be at both or Coachella only.
They're not going to go from Flosstradamus, Chainsmokers, and Zeds Dead, to Justice, Portishead, and Chemical Brothers. Major Lazer, Porter Robinson (if lucky), Disclosure, Jack U, Pretty Lights, Big Gigantic are much more likely. I'd bet they get at least 2 out of that list.

It'll be more along the lines of PL, Justice, Big G, Major Lazer, Porter Robinson, Zhu, Kaytranada, + 2 cheese edm acts that will release album sometime this year.
We pretty much got the worst edm lineup we could possibly get this year so I think we'll get something decent in 2017.
"I think we'll get something decent in 2017" does not correlate with "hey I hope that Skrillex, Pretty Lights, Big G, Major Lazer, ZHU + more cheese will be there!"
That run of artists is much closer to decent than what they booked this year.

Krewella is about the only act they were missing last year to make it the worst of the worst. Oh and Hippie Sabotage.

Agreed. Which is why I think I they will bounce back and get a much better lineup. I mean look at 2015's. They got Jamie XX and Caribou of all people. I think one bad year of booking shouldn't make us have zero faith in something at least decent. If Krewella and Steve Aoki and Carnage were the top 3 acts in 2017, that's the only way I think it could ever possibly be worse than this years.

I agree, the whole lineup this year was lacking creativity in general. But the EDM for every previous year hasn't been bad. Bassnectar, DeadMau5, or Skrillex might not be everyone's favorite acts on this board, but they aren't the worst things ever and they sell a lot of tickets. They even got Flume and Odesza last year which are both pretty good. I think this year they couldn't give us one or two big edm acts that could sell a lot of tickets, so they went for a heavy and pretty mainstream undercard for the edm.
