It's been time for a while now. He's a perfect fit for roo, definitely could see him closing down which stage. Or maybe in the Death Cab spot from last year.

Completely random, but what are the chances Kasabian play this? They have a new album releasing soon and they are one of those bands that headline European festivals, but would be third or fourth line on a big American festival card, similar to Arctic Monkeys. I also don't think they have ever played the festival.
You got it. I'll meet you at the beer tent 20 minutes before set time.
I like it. Although, Ill have to weed my way through a couple of hundred people to get my sweet spot back
While I would lllooovvveee a return set from Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds, I won't bet on it. And if it was anythin' like his last 'Roo set it won't be hard to get close!

I've been wondering when Kasabian would finally show up to Roo for years

Yeah no doubt. I heard it was a skeleton crew.
Yeah, it was criminally under-attended. I spent all the next day ravin' 'bout that show that I just happened to wonder into.

No TN date, I'd love to see these guys on the farm! Would be perfect for Thursday.
Question: Would Joe Russo's Almost Dead be a possibility for Roo? My real hesitation comes in when they'd play, because I don't know if I can see Roo giving them a LN but they'd need a longer set time

They gave Bustle a late night post SJ so they have done it for an entity of his before
Anyone think we might could get Rebelution or Soja this year? Rebelution's tour ends in Florida in early March and Soja, even though they were there in 2015, have a big gap between their dates in May in California and ones in July in Hawaii.
This is the first message board I've ever been on, the only reason I joined is because I love Bonnaroo and wanted to read and talk about it all year long.

2017 Animal Collective Dates
5/17 - Charleston, SC - Music Farm 5/18 - Knoxville, TN - The Mill & Mine 5/20 - Charlottesville, VA - The Jefferson Theater 5/22 - Washington, DC - 9:30 Club 5/23 - Brooklyn, NY - Brooklyn Steel 5/24 - Northampton, MA - Calvin Theatre 5/26 - New Haven, CT - College Street Music Hall 5/27 - Montreal, QC - Corona Theatre 5/28 - Toronto, ON - The Danforth Music Hall
I'd imagine the TN date likely rules them out for Roo, but they'll be active so maybe they will play some other fests.
Go ahead and confirm Sigur Ros for Sunday. I'd assume pre-headliner on What, closing Which or closing This.
June 9 — Austin, TX @ ACL Live at The Moody Theater June 10 — Austin, TX @ ACL Live at The Moody Theater June 12 — Nashville, TN @ Andrew Jackson Hall June 13 — Louisville, KY @ Louisville Palace Theatre

You're right! Thanks! Great news! So excited! It's so cool that they are playing Bonnaroo in 2017 right before they play Nashville!

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they're not playing 5 days in a row.

They are already playing 4 days in a row earlier in the tour. I don't think 5 is really all that insane. Just unlikely. We'll see.

So I'm guessing that this TN venue is run by Superfly? If not...I guess the radius clause doesn't matter for Roo?
