Go ahead and confirm Sigur Ros for Sunday. I'd assume pre-headliner on What, closing Which or closing This.
June 9 — Austin, TX @ ACL Live at The Moody Theater June 10 — Austin, TX @ ACL Live at The Moody Theater June 12 — Nashville, TN @ Andrew Jackson Hall June 13 — Louisville, KY @ Louisville Palace Theatre
So I'm guessing that this TN venue is run by Superfly? If not...I guess the radius clause doesn't matter for Roo?
5/17 - Charleston, SC - Music Farm 5/18 - Knoxville, TN - The Mill & Mine 5/20 - Charlottesville, VA - The Jefferson Theater 5/22 - Washington, DC - 9:30 Club 5/23 - Brooklyn, NY - Brooklyn Steel 5/24 - Northampton, MA - Calvin Theatre 5/26 - New Haven, CT - College Street Music Hall 5/27 - Montreal, QC - Corona Theatre 5/28 - Toronto, ON - The Danforth Music Hall
I'd imagine the TN date likely rules them out for Roo, but they'll be active so maybe they will play some other fests.
What a bummer. I'm biased since they are my favorite band, but their 2013 LN set is my favorite show I've ever been to. At least I can see them in Knoxville.

I've seen them a few times this year (second time being one of my favorite shows ever) and I'm still slightly bummed haha I love them a lot too! I may end up at that Knoxville show as well, actually. Seeing them at Roo would be amazing, I do hope they come back soon.
I wonder if we will get some roo clues this year. Nothing like believing Roo booked Carrie Underwood for a week or so.
They totally did because that was the clear answer to the clue. She must have cancelled.
I remember this. She wasn't the clear answer though. Some of you were stuck on her being the answer though. Roo wouldn't book her cause she would headline.

have you seen any of the "painting with" shows? i've seen them 7 times and i think these are by far my favorite. they did do some one off shows in brooklyn that were really incredible too in like 2010, maybe 2011. they finally played water curses on this latest tour though and threw a jam of the grateful dead's "the other one" in it and i melted.
It was Father John Misty. And it wasn't that difficult. Unless you were dickhard about Carrie Underwood.
Except that the clue was a much more logical fit for Underwood. It was nice that they were able to get Misty to fill in for her, though.
Don't they typically do a 12 days of christmas or something like that? I feel like they started early in December and were twice a week or something like that for a few weeks? They've made no mention of them so I wonder if they've just decided to scrap that idea.

It was 12/8 for Clue One last year. 12/12 for 2015. 1/7 for 2014.

Yeah, I saw them in Denver this year on the PW tour. It was a lot of fun, but I preferred them playing the instruments they did on the CHz tour. It provided a different type of energy. My highlight was Bees from the PW show. Hoping they throw more older songs in there this run though.

bees was great, they did it in jersey but not nyc. they're hitting brooklyn again and i can't wait. i just didn't like CHz as much as painting with, thats probably why i like this tour more.

Damn it was January for 2014, I didnt even realize that. That was before they started dropping the lineup earlier though. Welp who knows I guess. I tweeted and asked about it but didn't get a response from them.
Honestly, I could see a later lineup drop this year because of U2. I fully expect everything is based on what they want. I doubt Bonnaroo gets to just randomly announce that U2 will be doing their first real American festival show. I could be wrong, but you never know.

I agree with all of this. The CHz setup was such a great energy even though I am a bigger fan of PW. I hope they mix up the setup this summer. The PW show was good but I'd like them to mix in more stuff from their older material.

Well hell going off this, we are due for a good lineup since Roo clues came out in Jan in 2014. Obviously there's no correlation between 2014 and 2017, but I'm optimistic that Roo has something solid in store. I tweeted them about Roo clues, but didn't get a response
