2013 was my first Bonnaroo, and missing David Byrne and St. Vincent's set in favor of A$AP Rocky's is my biggest regret in the three years I've attended. She would definitely be a must see for me at this point.
I only know of them because I saw them open up for Brand New a couple years ago. I didn't really enjoy their set but I'd be willing to give them another chance.

That should def be your biggest regret. That Sunday is still one of my best days of music ever: ending it Tame Impala -> Byrne/St. Vincent -> Tom Petty was just stupendous.

People on this board love to say never miss a mmj set. But don't ever, ever, skip a David Byrne set.

Both are true and I have major regrets about missing David Byrne & St. Vincent ...but I will say if it were a conflict between the two I'd pick MMJ every time.

You definitely made the wrong choice. That set was fuckin' great! And David Byrne played my favorite Talking Heads song of all time ("Naive Melody") so that just made it even better!

I lllooovvveee MMJ, but in that hypothetical conflict David Byrne will always win my heart. And ears. And presence. Always.

In my defense, I had never listened to Talking Heads at the time, only St. Vincent. I now know the gravity of my mistake.
Is the new cudi actually good? The only opinions I've heard are on twitter and are the same people who think the chainsmokers are good (also the guy who posted above me).

Wayyyyy better than his last album, although that's not saying much. The songs with Andre 3000 are great, and don't hate me but the Willow Smith track is fantastic.
Dispatch are playing Telluride Bluegrass fest the weekend after Bonnaroo. I feel like having them and Trey Anastasio would be too much jamband in the top 20, but thoughts on where they would be billed if they came back? They were 10th in 2012, but I'd guess they'd be a little lower now

I could see them and TAB around 10 and dispatch around 18th

I thought that they were hosting their own festival that weekend? Or am I confusing them with someone else?

It's got some decent songs but in my opinion it's too long and has too many weak spots. Still better than his last album.

I'm a little late because I don't check this thread too often, but Childish Gambino always makes me a little sad. I feel like he really tries his hardest and gives his all in everything he does musically, but in terms of raw talent there's just a certain plateau that he's never going to exceed. He pushes himself as an artist and really stretches the boundaries of his own creativity with each project he embarks upon, but he's simply not good enough to ever be truly great. I thoroughly enjoyed Culdesac and I like his new one, and Camp and ...Because the Internet are pretty decent as well, but I feel like he just has a cap on what he's able to do. He does everything an artist should do in terms of work ethic, passion, and creativity, but he does it all on a B-level and I don't see him ever surpassing that.

And let's be honest, his voice is just okay.
yeah but Atlanta was the best show of the year. so he kicks ass at TV.

That's what I've heard; haven't seen it yet though.
