He will be billed at least in the top 3-4 lines. I could see him getting the Janelle Monae spot from 2014. But I'm hoping for a LN tent set.

How often does it happen where an undercard act plays back to back years? I know X Ambassadors did it '15 and '16 after they graduated from the Miller Lite stage but is that really a common thing or nah?
Not often, but I would expect Arkells to be back. They seem to be getting bigger.

Saw Matt & Kim on Saturday (first time ever) and they tore the place down. Would absolutely love to see them on the lineup again. Also, DJ Khaled was there and I had VERY low expectations for him and apparently he actually does DJ and DJ'd just about every old school hip hop song you could imagine. He doesn't bring much outside of that to the table but there would be worse options we could end up with than him if his name ends up somewhere on it.
Matt & Kim was the worst show I saw at Coachella. And I saw Calvin Harris.
it really depends on what youre looking for. if youre looking for really good music and genuine talent its not your thing. but if you just wanna fuck around and to some fun songs while they throw pinatas of donald trump to rip up into the crowd its a good time.

So kinda like a FLips show fer years before they released their latest (The Terror I believe?) album? I skipped their last 'Roo set fer the amazingness that was Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds so I wouldn't know fer certain.

Matt & Kim need to go away for a while (they tour every year) and focus on creating an album that isn't hot garbage. Their earlier stuff was decent, but each album has been worse than the previous one. And as others have said, they've been doing the same shtick live for several years.

I've seen Matt and Kim three times over the last 4 years. Once at Lolla 2013, Firefly last year, and an outside venue in Buffalo. All three times were awesome, if you're looking for a set to cut loose: this is the one. I recommend people see them once, and if it's not for you...totally get it. I've had my fix, their set doesn't change much but it's always a fun time.

haha well it sounds like having not see Matt and Kim until now doesn't mean I've missed anything. Honestly, I knew like 1 1/2 songs and was really into it because there was rock and hip hop being played sprinkled in. But I agree, if that's the exact same as every show than I could do without seeing them on the farm. Sounds like Girl Talk syndrome. Which he is probably due back sometime soon I would think?
Unless Shaky Knees steals her, I'm also assuming Angel Olsen is a lock for next year. Also have a bad feeling Banks and Steelz will be billed way higher than they should and underwhelm.

I saw Banks & Steelz a couple weeks ago in LA and it was very disappointing

Gorillaz would headline. Disclosure would be highest billed EDM but not a headliner. Edward Sharpe def would not headline. They peaked a bit ago and have even gone down since then.
