Muse will be unopposed. But I think there will be someone else playing for the other four, or at least for one of them each night. Probably 21P on Friday and Chance on Saturday.

I meant more that
2016: Major Lazer closed unopposed post-headliner 2015: White Panda was schedule to close unopposed post-headliner 2014: Big Gigantic closed unopposed post-headliner
I dunno how they would fit 6 unopposed slots, especially if 5 of them are going to be 90-120 minutes long.

I think this is where the treehouse and coffeehouse stages will come into play. They'll maybe put acts second sets during that time, like a Bishop Briggs or Francis and the Lights treehouse and coffeehouse set.
It'll let them off the hook of having a ton of unopposed headliners without having to dilute out their already thin lineup with having contending sets.
*Note: This was my first attempt at making a clashfinder, and, well, let's just say it probably would have been smarter to start with a smaller fest that didn't have 50% bands/acts I had never heard of. But overall it went fine (just a heads up to make sure if you ever do one, it doesn't save unless you hit "update the clashfinder" - my computer froze during it, and a lot of the work was done & I had to start over lol...so I started updating after every small change I made).
Based this mostly on when the 5 headliners are playing, then everything kinda fell in place from there.
Some quick thoughts on it:
Couldn't get the last 9 full lines of the poster anywhere on here, so look for at least some, if not most, of them on the Hub stages I'm guessing.
A lot of the acts in the lower half are DJs/EDM acts, so maybe they squeeze more into the Pavilion Stage than I have, though I doubt they have any while Main Stage acts are playing.
Still holding out that Chance and Bob Dylan will have some overlap and play on opposite stages, but it's Firefly, so who knows.

Lemme know what you think.
Think your Thursday might be a little bit heavy. Don't think they will have both O.A.R. and Naked and Famous at the same time. Replace one of them with a rap/hip hop act. I would also think one of Slushii/Benny Benassi. Flume is too popular for them to put up against White Panda.

To all the mouthbreathers on the Firefly's subreddit who are saying "the lineup is great give it a chance and explore all the undercard bands before you judge. Festivals are about discovery!"
Look at Osheaga. They have a diverse, acclaimed, and curated undecard. Outside of Beach Slang I don't know any of the bands on the bottom 5-6 lines, but I'm not excited to check them out because your undercard has developed trust and good will.
When you shove 348 bands onto the poster, including cover bands, then I am not excited to wade through the sh*t to maybe discover the next (ugh) Imagine Dragons.
Looks like The Shins are playing on Sunday, based off their new tour dates. They have a show booked for Thursday, Friday, & Saturday.
Damnit. I actually don't like this. They will almost certainly be right before Muse then since I'm sure TSTM will get the preheadliner spot. I was hoping to avoid any must see right before Muse.

Yeaa, I think based off what we know, it seems likely they will be on the backyard/lawn right before Muse, with TSTM on the main before Muse like you said.

They would have to group all the single day campers together. But that would be a clusterfuck. Imagine being the asshole Saturday morning in the middle of the festival telling people they have to pack up and leave. Their camping has skrocketed so much perhaps people are staying elsewhere? A Wed night camping pass is now basically the same price as a ticket.
one terrible selling year obviously wasnt going to affect the future of Bonnaroo, but could it affect the future of this?
Nah too much money involved. Only indies playing with sponsorship money can get taken out from one bad year.. Speaking of which, I bet Mysteryland is really regretting that LCD booking.
It doesn't seem like it would be that hard, although I've never been to Firefly. You're basically just selling overnight parking passes, so you have a section for Thursday & Saturday then another for Friday & Sunday or something like that.
I don't think this necessarily means tickets are selling poorly, it doesn't strike me as a major change like it does to everyone else. Then again, I don't think this lineup is any worse than most other years, so what do I know?

its worse. its a lot worse.
Which is unfortunate because they should have just left it as Muse - 21P - Chance and stacked up the undercard. Granted, I'm not sure who was available that late in the game.
