Also used to love listening to Futurama DVD commentaries as a teenager. Billy West, John DiMaggio, Tress McNeil, Maurice Lamarche.. all really funny people that could easily hold their own with the writers.

I have a friend who is a pretty successful voice actor and it's always jarring for me when I hear him pop up in a video game or animated show.
From what I hear tell from him, it's a great gig, especially now that the tech exists to do your recording at home for even high-budget stuff. He said it's a tough industry to break into, but once you get in and build a little portfolio and rep for being good to work with, there's so much work and it pays pretty well.
I haven't checked in with him on whether he's worried about being replaced by AI in the near future, though, so I'm sure that's a thing.
