What was the temps like last year? Is it cold in Houston in late December?
I wore pants and a sweater both days and felt fine. I remember being a little chilly the first night, so I wore a long sleeved shirt and put on the sweater at night for the next day and was perfect. I don't get cold easily though, so if you do you'll want an actual jacket. Not like a winter coat, but just a jacket.
Night temps could range 20s to 60s in Houston in December, so it's gonna be one of those game time decisions as to shirts/hoodies or windbreakers/heavy jackets. If you're coming from Germany though, it'll probably be warmer in Texas.
I'm going solo so far so I didn't really look too far into it. I just want to be there and be happy. My roommate may join in which we'll probably upgrade to I guess a 2 room suite.
Or, keep the current room & snuggle it up, duh.

The site says DJ set so I wouldn't expect anything else. It seems like they are being intentionally vague on social media. Its too bad they didn't book her to do the show she just did in London with just a string section. She's also doing it in Iceland in November.

I'm not at a hotel, but is this the same hotel Sleepy mentioned earlier that is next to a Flying Saucer. That's a great place to grab some crafts and flights.
No. It could be someone 5 people here have ever heard of, or it could be a big ass act, reunion or otherwise. Three 6 would be my first choice though I realize that ain't for everyone.
I still think LCD could play even though they are playing ACL but I could be wrong. I can think of an act along the lines of New Order that I would love to see play but I don't even dare say the name.

Ah yes, they would've hurt me so much more than anything on the line up. Portishead & Depeche Mode were my first two guesses for this fest and they would've cut deep.
