It was based on my excitement level for the sets. He may end up having the top show, but I didn't like the new EP a ton. I know Tycho ain't the greatest shit in the world either, but Tycho live is something I really like seeing.
I'm also highly excited about the food options if they keep with last year's style. So I wish they would release that.
On the flip side, it is waaay warmer temps than last year, we had to bundle pretty tight. There was rain overnights, and only a couple sprinkle periods during the actual fest.
This looks like par for the course. Just thank the Texas gods it's not below 40 temps or 80% chances of pouring rain. Could change in 6 days I suppose though.
Still very amped up for this, even despite the vague and late trickle of info that was the Bjork Digital fiasco. I won't get too broken up about it, like all the entitled millenials calling their daddy's lawyers. There's still so much more going on around the complex to make up for missing something. Last year we failed to experience the Infinity Room by Refik Anadol, we didn't even walk near its area (the lines were super long from what I heard). But we don't regret what we did experience. Bjork Digital may be this year's Infinity Room.
They're running a 2 for 1 special right now, and with fees, the tickets come out to $19/each.
Venue is downtown too, so convenient to hotels in the area.
I can't believe I'm this close to experiencing this fest. The excitement is through the roof already.
I totally would have but we opted to go to the Rockets-Pelicans game. That should be a good quality show. You sound pretty jacked up. I'm getting there, but I gotta work tomorrow Wednesday and Thursday. Today was dragging.

Speaking of which, we are staying in the Washington Ave corridor. Looks like a couple of really high dollar restaurants (B&B Butcher among others). But if there are any casual places to eat around that area, we do have a couple of meals open, recommendations appreciated if any Houstonians run across this post.
So I was reading the FAQs yesterday and saw that it said "limited reentry", so I emailed them about it and they said you can only re-enter the fest 1x per day.
They also have water refill stations and are fine with refillable bottles. Can't bring in sealed plastic water bottles though.
Good news. We are happy to announce we are extending the hours for Bjork Digital both on the front and back end. We will be opening doors early (final times to be announced tomorrow) as well as extending her exhibition hours until 2AM. No registration will be needed to queue up for these additional hours.j
Also, I got an email back on the Food. Not sure what each one will have, but they sent me the list. I'm going to have to go ahead and look into these!
