Hadn't had much time to pay attention to what's going on lately, but surprised fader fort, hype hotel and spotify house all dropped off. I would guess the bill for alcohol for those shows was pretty pricey, but no clue if that was part of the reason. I haven't even hardly looked into what to do this year yet. Need to make sure my friend has space at his crib now.
Good luck to anyone without a badge trying to get into Future Islands at Mohawk. Get there early for certain.

I'll be trying to see Future Islands with just a wristband. Hopefully it works out but if not there are plenty of other things going on that night.

Most of the juicy stuff happens next week and during the fest. Maybe we should know better by now.
Damn. Polica is out of nowhere, they were all over the place last year surprised they're back.
I need to start making lists. There's a lot coming out that I want to see now. Polica, Black Lips, Black Angels, Temples, Banks, Minus the Bear, GCJ, Wu Tang, Erykah Brady, The Districts, Jimmy Eat World, Pennywise, and I can't even remember who all else I've seen on line ups around town.... but I know there are more.
Anyone know if the clear out House of Vans (Mohawk) between the day party and the official night?
I know at the Levitation showcases last two years at Hotel Vegas, they didn't make you leave in between, so you could get into the official night without a badge/wristband if you were willing to hang out all day.
I'd love to hang all day at Mohawk, really want to catch The Black Angels, Le Bucherettes, and Temples.

I love those bungalows on Rainey, especially before the high rises went up. Seeing the Newport Folk Fest showcase at Blackheart during SxSW '13 is a live music highlight of my life.
