So no one guessed car seat headrest or did I miss them on the list?
Don't believe anyone guessed them. Do you think they could play? Teens of Denial was one of my favourite albums of the year, just don't see them fitting in too well.

I don't really know. I figure NFF likes buzz artists and there is always some sort of rocker "j roddy" type. But I've never seen him/them so maybe they are not a good fit.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.
Damn if they weren't the same weekend, I'd do NFF and Panorama this year. Damn.
So I am stupid and have NFF on the wrong weekend on all my calendars. Yay! The only hiccup is that I have that conference in Kansas City the week in between. It shifted from Sunday-Wednesday to Monday-Thursday, so luckily I don't have to miss Sunday again, but I just wonder about all that time out of the office NFF> Conference> Panorama

Unfortunately you had the Newport dates right before. It's the same weekend as Panorama, 7/28-30

Damn it (again). Someone corrected me on Facebook when I said they were the same weekend. I googled it real fast and and thought I confirmed it because their site still has 2016 in their little description. Of course, my own ticket appeared first, so you'd like I would have seen that first...

It almost sounds like they're making some major change(s). Maybe I'm reading into it, but they say "lots" of details, and other than the lineup, what would there normally be to tell us?

New rules about the shade tents and concert areas are probably part of that (though I think they have mentioned that stuff already). Maybe new sponsors for new activities? Or possibly more than just one or two of those "We can't announce these certain artists until the day of the festival" type things.
