It makes no sense for Newport to bring them back three years in a row. Unless they are planning some sort of special set. They would be a phenomenal house band.

Definitely suspicious, but I'd really rather them not be booked for a third year in a row, especially with no new material (other than that new EP). Their album got old pretty quickly for me. Plus they're at Boston Calling.

Maybe Rateliff was booked for a one-off solo performance. I'm not sure when the last time he performed solo was but I've been requesting a solo performance at Newport from him since I started attending in 2013. I definitely prefer his solo work to the Night Sweats. Before Rateliff ever played Newport, he did play Way Over Yonder in a solo set a few years back. Or maybe he won't be back at all or just as a guest. I hope they wouldn't bring back the Night Sweats for a third year in a row without a new LP.

Been refreshing the lineup page all morning and it's down for me now... Maybe they're working on it? Imagine if they surprised everybody and dropped the whole lineup at once.
Wouldn't make sense with the official Bingo game happening though.

lol I would hope not. I'm only able to refresh once every 10 minutes or so between work calls.
