Have not enjoyed their last 2 albums but they are a great live band. Will definitely have people dancing. This is a band I have always wanted to dance barefoot to.
So Old Crow Medicine Show performing Blonde on Blonde in its entirety has to be happening at Newport Folk Fest, right? Sunday headliner? (The tour will stop in Boston in May, but it just seems like too perfect of an opportunity to not end up at Newport)
Them doing it Bluegrass style may cut the running time down to 30 minutes.
Anyhow, I love all the announcements so far, as per usual.
So this smallish festival is happening in Cleveland this summer. The lineup looks pretty fantastic! Any Quackers that are interested in taking a trip it may be worth it. www.laurelive.com/ Message me for details!

from the podcast clue, she & him seems like a possible answer.
which also means......
monsters of folk could still be in play.
What podcast clue?
that was quick.
edit: i don't think they'll mention it until tomorrow, because they say the clue is for "tomorrow's announcement," unless they're changing up the MWF announcement schedule

What about Sylvan Esso. Would they be a possibility?
There's a tour gap but I'm not sure the clue really points to them. They would be a good fit and there's plenty of history with both of them and this fest. Honestly might be too loud for Newport.

Get off my lawn.
If loud music inspires another "Frightened and Rabid" improv'd song...I'm down
