Damn. Really thought Petty was going to be a thing. Looks like I'll be takin my quest for the HBs elsewhere this summer. Now 15 years and counting that Petty hasn't hit Louisville.

I mean, its not ATCQ and Tom Petty but I like it quite a bit.
Never seen Odesza, PJ Harvey, Charles Bradley or Conor Oberst. Run the Jewels and Vince Staples are great rap shows. Want to see Modern Baseball, Beach Slang, Cashmere Cat.
There are things I like, like LCD Soundsystem, Cage, PJ Harvey, who I've always wanted to see, Run the Jewels and Conor Oberst, but it's kind of rough only being excited about one of the three headliners. Ouch.

I know Jim has talked about working on a new Monsters of Folk record... hoping that Oberst being on the lineup could hint at them being an add down the road. Can't imagine Odesza stays there but Cage being up that high isn't surprising to me at all being from KY... I expect some okay adds. To me though one of the best parts of Forecastle is they are pretty good about booking up and coming bands I have never heard of and once I dive in I find a couple I like and get to see them in a small crowd a year before they start playing a lot of major festivals.
This doesn't look as awful as people are making it out, but not saying it's stellar either. I think Weezer being a headliner and Odessa #3 is what throws it off. I'd honestly would think PJ Harvey would switch places w Weezer and it'll make more sense.
