If you replace weezer with say anybody relevant it doesn't look as bad. Weezer is a 4-6 at best. At the end of the day- the undercard has some quality foxygen, strfkr, Vince, beach slang. Add pj Harvey, RtJ, LCD and odesza it works.
Not their best work but it works for a 20,000 person a day fest in Louisville.

The only name I am really familiar with on the bottom few lines is Jack Harlow, he's a local hip hop artist (18 or 19 year old white kid). He is pretty solid and all the local hip hop acts they've had in the past have put on really great shows early in the day so I'd recommend it.

Do yourself a favor and Skip waka flakas hype show. It's just a dj playing for 15 minutes then he comes out yelling over tracks any playing the hype man. It's pretty booty. Least that was my euphoria exp.

That'a a shame that Waka's lyrical dexterity didn't translate well live for you

I won free tickets to see Waka in Detroit and went, "lol, okay I'll go" and actually had a lot of fun. He's clearly not the world's best rapper and him knowing he's not helps. He put on a really high energy show, rapping in the crowd, and even jumping in on the mosh pit. Now I get this isn't the most musically gifted artist that could've been booked, but I'd take Waka over Lil Boat anyday. *Not sure what his festival show is like, I'd hope his set is not 15 minutes of a DJ like stated above. But that could be true.

I can agree with this. Def better grab then lil boat lmao. And least dj who kid is pretty entertaining.
Thats a bit of egg on Pitchfork's face. PJ Harvey seems way more up their alley
the fests run over the same weekend -
True. Is there a tradition of acts hitting both in the same weekend? I'm pretty sure there wasn't any crossover last year, but Im unsure as to before 2016

Beck was a crossover headliner in 2014. It's rare but there are usually one or two acts that make the drive/flight.
I feel like this would be a ton of fun if you've never been to a music festival.
It'd be a ton of fun if you lived close by, got together a group of friends and went. Music festivals are fun. This one only costs $150 and that price tag is reflected in the lineup.
I am seeing RTJ in Feb and that ticket cost me $40. Weezer just played Sands Casino last weekend and a ticket to that show was $70. PJ Harvey sold out Terminal 5 last August and resale value on that ticket was going for $150. LCD is one of my all time favorite bands; I'd easily drop that money just to see them. This fest is a great value. But if you are like me and live 12 hours away, its not worth it. I envy people who live nearby and get to see all those acts for such a cheap price tag.
