Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
We need phase 2 of this lineup ASAP (or just an MMJ addition).
If we get an MMJ addition, I'm buying my ticket and camping alone. Of course, if MMJ does get added, I think we'll see an influx other friends there anyway.
Welcome back Bonz, but I do not find it strange that your presence being requested in the Orgy thread and then you showing up, like it was the quacking Bonzai Bat Signal.

Perfect. Was hoping that Tom would be Saturday. Leaves open a nice Friday add! Just got my ticket for this. A much more local camping festival since I'm not doing Roo this year!
Great, if you get there early, or camp mountaintop. If you're there late, you'll be sleeping on the side of the hill and the battle for flatt-ish spots will be fierce.
^What he said. I have only done VIP and if I commit to this, I will do GA and I am not particularly looking forward to camping. Definitely bring a cart and a cooler with wheels if you can. You'll be literally bringing your camping gear up a mountain (even if you go early and snag a flat spot).

They do have car camping GA, Bonz...I've never dragged my stuff anywhere, when I was GA or Mountaintop or VIP...but if you're doing tent camping, you're totally right about trucking up the hill

That's true. I don't think they always had car camping. In fact, my first year VIP didn't have car camping. I still had to drag my stuff.

I did car camping last year. Its kind of a lot of extra money for me - but i'm spoiled and i bring a ton of crap (i'm wayyy over prepared) -- I think we got there a little later in the day and we ended up further down the hill almost towards the bottom and it was only a tiny bit of an incline. The spot we got was pretty big - I was able to do my 4 person tent and my canopy without overlap and had plenty of room.
i'm lazy - having to walk up and down the mountain in front of the stage is enough for me. i don't need to do it get back to camp too!

I loved Mountain Top last year but the worst part was definitely walking back up the mountain after 12 hours+ of music!
Not sure if it means anything but there are artist pages for the following bands Govt Mule, Alabama Shakes, Avett Brothers and The Lone Bellow on the Mountain Jam site and there's no link to it within the site. I had Googled Govt Mule Mountain Jam 2017 and one of the first things that came up was a link to a mostly empty artist page for them.
I did similar searches for multiple artists that have played in the past to see if it was just old broken links but only some had it and most didn't.

Wondering if these may not be bands that will be there this year
Doubt this is anything. Mule plays every year so I'd expect them to have a site, and the Shakes played a couple years ago. Same with Lone Bellow.
i would be VERY happy though if the lone bellow did show up again. just saying. (with newport starting their line up roll out today -- and all the recent line up drops I'm really really hoping for the second round of artists)

Word from Mexico is that MMJ is not playing Mountain Jam. BUT if you happen to be in or around Scranton, PA in mid August, you'd be able to catch them.

Really? Ive heard otherwise.
Edit: I should clarify that I had heard otherwise about Scranton, not anything to do with Mountain Jam and that was a bit ago and things were still fluid.
Additions coming Friday!! Right after MMJ wraps OBH. That CAN'T be a coincidence.... can it???
Make it happen festival gods!!!
As soon as I see something I shall let you guys know. For the record, the radio station I work for is owned by the company that puts this on. If this is being announced tomorrow, I should be receiving the commercial at some point today.

Hopefully you're more reliable than your namesake then

MMJ Fri, WSP Sat & Sun
Unless something drastically changed, I would be shocked if that is how it played out.
