I don't know if we get anyone this big, especially if moe. is one of the additions. But Umphrey's added dates. They are in New Orleans on Friday of the Fest, Dallas Saturday and then open Sunday and for a four day period before resuming in Florida on the 26th.
Edit: They are also with Big Something for this portion of the run who could be likely.
They are doing a run here this weekend. But probably still possible.

So, what's the discount like on the beers (after the five free ones) if I go VIP??? 8 bux instead of 9??? Me & the friend I'm planning on bringing can both put down some beers, so this could up add up quick...
How legit is the mainstage VIP viewing area??? Other than beer savings, this is the only VIP perk I'm too concerned about...
Apparently the VIP tix are very limited @ this point, hopefully I can get my shit together before they're gone
Have a bunch of people from my Peach Fest group going. Getting pretty excited for this. I'm driving down from NY with my fest buddy, his girlfriend, and my sister-in-law. Have met solidrock down at Hangout before. A couple people I have met at Peach. Should be a blast.

..the value has passed imo...the tier now is for the well to do...good perks if you have the xtra dough though....bathrooms, viewings and cheaper drinks.

I mentioned Big Something on my wayward Umph post. They're pretty decent. I have caught a fest set or two of theirs.
Brandi Carlisle would have to be Sunday but would make sense. Doesn't seem like we are getting Nathaniel Rateliff. I would imagine he would be billed above Lettuce/DSO and on the beer bottle in the moe. confirmation.
So I put together a mock schedule to make some guesses on what we can expect addition wise. This is based off the set times from last year at the three stages. I extended out Friday a bit per the FAQs that it starts earlier. They say 30 more acts to be announced. I also am curious if they are doing the 420 Disco this year. None of the bands yet would fit there so this final announcement will be mostly those bands if they do.
This would leave us: 1 medium main stage act (moe.) and 2 smaller main stage acts 11 Planet 420 stage ages (two being Talib Kweli and Big Something) 18 420 Disco Stage acts (probably drop two of these if adding exactly 30)
Color coding: Green means confirmed playing on that day Yellow is an addition spot Blank is someone on the lineup who we are not sure what day they are playing

Aaaannnd now I'm already stressed about the possible conflicts, lol... I'd like to catch most of the acts that we know so far, tho, guess it's inevitable when yer digging a lineup as much as I am this one.
Also, seems to me that Savoy could possibly play the Disco stage

Yeah I am sure there will be conflicts. I bet we get a couple cool lower card acts that conflict with mid day stuff. Savoy is pretty much the only band on the lineup that I don't know much about but what I have YouTubed seems like mellow rock. I'd like to check out everyone so far too. Can't wait for Thursday to see how the rest of the lineup shapes up.

I don't really have the extra dough, but I only get the opportunity to travel a few times per year & so I like to go as all-out as I can... It'll definitely break me for the next several weeks but I'm trying to grab a pair of VIP's next week if they're still around... I always miss out on early bird tix because I'm waiting around for all the other lineups to drop

Super excited for Jackie Greene. He is one of my favorites. Break Science is a great 420 Disco closer. Why is Ron Pope so high or do I just not know him? Dopapod is awesome but I see them a lot in my area. I have wanted to catch Temperance Movement. The Werks are always great. Lots of good smaller bands. I’m excited. $89 well spent.

Lettuce is a lot more high energy. I love them both so can't go wrong either way but if you want a throw down dance party go Lettuce. If you want some good jams and rock 'n roll go moe..

You couldn't do lawn tix to 2xWSP and TAB for $89 so the value is definitely there. They probably shouldn't have held the rest of the lineup back since we already had the whole top, but whatever. The last half of everyday is going to be great.
