A buddy and I are starting our trek from Ohio tomorrow morning. Staying in Chattanooga and then heading to Atlanta early Friday. Looking forward to this one.
Some guy at Turkuaz gave me some edibles last night. Went a little too hard all day after driving overnight on an hour of sleep. Ditched my friends and some frat guys found me passed out somewhere and walked me back to the hotel. Hope you all are having an awesome lead in to the fest too.
Currently sitting at Crearure Comforts Brewery in Athens. Heading to Atlanta in the morning.

Are you sure your name isn't Tugboat cause this sound like something I'd end up. Xoxo. Mad love to bad decisions
Super laid back fest. Feels like a city concert series that just happens to run all day. Pretty compact but that makes it easy to get everywhere. Good value on VIP. Ended up getting stage viewing with our wristbands which is cool. Seems like any kind of VIP is worth it. Hung with Solidrock for a bit and some Peach Fest friends. Weird to be let loose in a large city when it ends. Weve been to a few interesting places tonight. Hung out with Al from moe. for a few minutes outside the Hard Rock trying to get in to the Phish cover band. My sister in law got pics with Mihali randonly walking around the fest. Cool first day.
Purchased my 3 day pass last night. I'm going to hate myself for going to a festival this close to finals, but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Update: I shouldn't have gone to a festival this close to finals. However, awesome day 1 - saw some of Twiddle, moe., San Holo and TAB. I am looking forward to Trombone Shorty, Dopapod, and Savoy tonight.
Nice. I always liked them. I felt like the 15 Roo set was kind of their arrival on a bigger scene. They've always been great. Live Stream today is Slightly Stoopid on now and then 3:30 of WSmfP. Tomorrow is Ween and then another 3:30 of WSP.
Damnit. We almost went to Savoy but the only time I ventured to the "Disco" stage was some dude in a weird mask playing terrible music so we havent been back there since. Ill be over there for Break Science tomorrow. This place is Panic crazy. Packed. Panic gear everywhere. I have VIP and we are almost all the way back by the food trucks because it is not even worth it to run through this crowd

It's only worth it to go there during that stage's headliners, with some exceptions. Most of the rest of the acts they book are crap, and I almost feel bad for the people who play that stage at noon for a total of 4 people. Do go to Break Science though.
I've never seen what Centennial Olympic Park looks like during a sold out event until today. It was unbelievably crowded. I think tomorrow I might try to get close for Ween and stay there for some of WSP, go to Break Science, and then leave. I'm glad they rescheduled the Hip Abduction tomorrow also, but I'm not glad they're that early because I wasn't planning on entering the festival that early.
Two great covers yesterday...voodoo visionary doing 'life during war time' and slightly stoopid raising hell with 'territorial pissings'...was told i was hearing dopapod play britney spears at one point as well....and then wsmfp

I am usually the last kind of festival person to leave before the headliners, but I left super early today (I think at like 5:30). I saw enough of Ween and I was exhausted from the rain. I also saw a little bit of WSP last night so I wasn't too bummed about missing their sets tonight. I already got back to my apartment and cooked dinner, plenty of time to work on my projects for school. Awesome weekend.
The live stream of WSP is awesome. I'm sure it is better at the festival but, I appreciate the live stream. Lead guitar, bass, drummer, percussionist, keyboards, and singer are superb musicians.
