Not far in between stages at all. In fact, actually a little too close and there's a lot of soundbleed in between the two stages if you're not at one of the stages.
Also, fuck. Ween, Lettuce, AND Sunsquabi are all overlapping??????? WHY

Yeah, that is a tough spot. I have seen Lettuce a few times and love them but have never seen Ween before. I was never a huge Ween fan but they are one of the few acts that I haven't seen on the bill so I will probably stick out the main stage unless I get bored.
I'm curious as to how difficult it's going to be to find a ride over to Terminal West in a timely fashion after Sweetwater ends... Wanting to check out Kyle Hollingsworth but might end up going to see the Phish tribute mainly due to the fact that it's walkable

I bought tix for Terminal West but have no idea what we will end up doing. If there are more after parties added, may need to change things up. 50 days from today until my group heads out towards Atlanta!
Leave Rochester, NY around midnight/1am on the night of Tuesday the 19th into Wednesday the 20th. Drive in shifts through the night. This will put us in Athens around 4/5pm or so on the 20th. We are going to do Turkuaz/Organ Freeman at the Georgia Theater Wednesday night. Do stuff around Athens Thursday. Head to Atlanta on Friday morning, check into the AirBnB and head to the fest. Fest all weekend. Attempt to drive straight home Monday morning.

That's a good plan. Athens is a good fun city. A great way to star a great weekend.
And they cancelled our Airbnb. Shiz. Now we have to scramble to find a place to stay that is at all affordable.
Edit: Priceline Express deal for the Sheraton Atlanta. May have to be sneaky to get 4 people in there and it's still about double the price of the Airbnb but it's a nice place and close so it works.

My buddy and I just booked a room at the Hilton Atlanta Downtown. It was only $200 a night, which didn't seem bad. I had zero intention of going to this, but its jam-centric lineup really appealed to me, so we're going to make the 8 hour drive for the weekend.

Sweet. That is a block over from us. Seem like we will have some decent Inforoo representation.

I'm definitely considering this now, due to my wife dropping out of Mountain Jam and me not wanting to go to that anyway - I have so many southwest/hilton points, it'd basically only be the price of the wristband. Tempting!

Big Wild is doing a late night show at TWest Saturday night and I'll probably go to that. I still haven't decided if I'm going all 3 days to this fest or just Sunday.
I'm not positive, but I think the 2nd stage has been moved further away and the 'Sweetwater Experience' is now in that spot...should help, or eliminate, sound bleed if so.

Yeah it looks like the Lyrics and Laughter stage has also been moved "down". The 2016 map has it over by the VIP area to the right, now it is down by the 420 Disco.
Does anyone know the difference between Honey Hole VIP and Big Fish VIP? From what I can find from past years, it seems like the Honey Hole is a "higher" level of VIP? We ended up buying VIP wristbands on the secondary market and got two Big Fish which appears to be the normal VIP and two sets of daily Honeyhole VIP.
From the map there is the Big Fish VIP to the right of main stage and then Honeyhole VIP to the left with access for both VIP bands. Hope the Honeyhole bands get in regular VIP to the right. If not, no big deal, because we can all get in the left viewing (which also looks like it has side of stage viewing?!?).

I don't recall anything special about the 'honey hole'...you'll have right and left side viewing on the main and if all that blue on the right is vip, that's a big expansion from years past. and it looks like a much larger vip for the 2nd stage as well.
One more conference call and then it is picking up the rental car, going home for a quick nap and then heading out for Athens around midnight (and a 15/16 hour drive depending on stops). Turkuaz/Organ Freeman tomorrow night at the Georgia Theatre, Thursday in Athens probably day drinking at the couple local breweries, then Friday morning to Atlanta. Can't wait!
