Because of the dates I know that Sturgill Simpson will be in MD Fri and Boston Saturday. He doesn't have a tour date again until Tuesday in Detroit so he could certainly play on Sunday the 17th in NY.

There are 4 hidden gifs on their website. Not sure what they mean, but the email I got announcing the dates hints that they are clues. 1. In the birds at the top on the right side. It takes you to a gif of a licking goat 2. Bottom of page bird on left side- gif of a spinning t shirt 3. Globe- It is guy from Mr. Robot putting on a mask with someone in mask behind him 4. Bird on right side- Wheel of Fortune gif for final spin

i personally would of waited until they locked down a better venue to move to 3 days, especially during the school year, but hey i guess we'll see what the lineup brings.

Green Day has two days open between 9/13 and 9/16 though I don't know how complicated it would be to fly to NYC the next day after the Rose Bowl date with all their shit.

I personally would love Green Day as a headliner. Not sure on how realistic it is though.

Saw Green Day a week ago. Their show is very low tech, no video boards, not a ton of crazy lighting. Would be pretty easy for them to have a short turn around

Launchy, assuming you know a lot about the lineup, do you particularly like it. How does it compare to last year?
i would personally love to know how the top lines will shake out genre wise. last year only had 2 "bands" in the top 9. im wondering if we should expect the same/similar amount.
