I'll send ya a pm about meeting up, thanks! I have to drop off a few things to an account I have in the city Friday AM so I'll have my car unfortunately. If I can't park around union I'll probably just leave it in the loop and take the L from there.

I'll second that Cherry Glazerr recommendation. I'll add that if you can get there early enough, I'd definitely recommend checking out Vagabon on Saturday. Her debut LP is way good. I neither know you or what kind of music you like, but check it out! I'll definitely be there.

Thirding Cherry Glazerr. Saw them in San Antonio, about halfway through Brian Bell of Weezer walks in to the side room they were playing at and stands next to us. It was too loud for him, he ended up watching the rest of the set from outside the door, but he stuck around. They're fun and intense.
Any recommendations for where I should book an air bnb? Are hostels a thing in Chicago?
I got one in Ukrainian Village. It's cheap and not horrible to get to the festival.I forgot about the after shows though and we will see on that. I'm literally around the corner from Empty Bottle. I'd rather be on the L than taking a bus, honestly.

It was on the table till Thursday became Thurston Moore night for me. That's such a great show, too. Not only do you get Bradley but Seun Kuti opening. For free, even.

Never heard of the openers I really wanted to get out and see him now that he's doing well again. I'd also be down to grab a beer at the fest. The group I'm going with differs from me in music taste quite a bit so I'll be solo for the most part

From his last record a few years ago. I won't bore you with lineage but his dad was wicked important in Nigerian music, culture, and even politics. Seun carries the mantle (and does so well) fronting his old mans band.

Ugh. A Tyondai Braxton and Tim Kinsella (Cap'n Jazz/Joan of Arc) show just went up at Constellation for that Saturday. It's an 8:30 show though and would mean missing ATCQ.

I wouldn't be able to miss ATCQ. Is 8:30 the door time? Either way, I bet it runs late.
I'm sure it will but you're probably still looking at missing Kinsella due to transportation. I'm also spoken for that night but if this were Friday, I'd be on this in a heart beat.
I understand why Pitchfork chose their headliners but did anyone think about how the Gorillaz could've been her? Despite them being such a big get, they're touring with Vince and Danny Brown, and doing a separate show in Chicago without them.
