SHELLS. It's ambient guitar music. While I'm a fan of ambient guitar music, the Screaming Eagle of Soul takes precedent. I'll just hurry back to see what I can of TMG.

Leaving in a few to start the journey.
Safe travels to those from outta town and hope to see you guys at the festival. I'll be the guy raving about how PJ Harvey is life changing and with a girl that's way out of his league.
I'll be getting in on Friday but probably not super early because it turns out I want to like Madame Gandhi's music more than I actually like it. Anyway I'll be wearing the unicorn horn w/rainbow ears again at this festival so it will be very easy to find me. See you all soon xoxo
Looks like I won't be there Saturday anymore but thanks to suggestions I've really gotten into Cherry Glazerr. Hoping to catch the after show if I get out of the area on time.
Will be rolling in just in time for Thurston Moore today! Super excited but pretty bummed I'm missing Priests. Haven't ruled out the aftershow yet, but I have a feeling ATCQ will be historic. If they show up that is...

What do you mean IF a tribe shows up?
They cancelled all their other scheduled festival appearance so far this year (something about Q-Tip shoulder injury). As a result, P4k will be their first real show since like 2013 I believe.
Off topic question: Does anyone think Pitchfork artificially rates some albums higher because of this fest? Or do you think they booked those acts after liking their albums? For example, as a midwesterner I do not think Solange is a headliner. Most people who know her know her as Beyoncé's sister. Wouldn't you put it past Pitchfork to give that album of the year in order to sell tix. Just posing a question here, not attacking Solange. I also understand P4k is a small fest so they can have borderline headliners

I've always wanted to conduct a study on this. It definitely looks like the artists who play their fests receive BNM, but they're a few exceptions (notably Frances and the Lights this year).
