When did The xx get confirmed. I assumed since they're playing Primavera they would stay in Europe until at least Glastonbury
Also, The xx are boring as shit.
I was told by a friend of mine who works in the music industry that they'd be there. Taking him at his word, but as I said when I initially posted it, I won't say it's 100%. Maybe I should move them to rumored?

Have you heard the new single? It's my jam right now.
Yeah I think it's fine. I feel the way I do about most of the xx's stuff, I'll put it in on as background music when I need something not distracting, but I don't really get why people would be excited to see them live, especially in a pre headliner spot

Didn't he also say Tame Impala was playing Panorama, while Kevin Parker has stated that Laneway would be their only gig of 2017?
I'm seeing him again tonight, I'll double check on what he said for Panorama, because that's definitely giving me pause.
This is inaccurate. Also, Jamie's had a huge influence on their live show and I'd suspect they'll benefit even more from theee years of touring by himself.
This is huge guys. Although they'll be everywhere this summer, I feel like adding the Avalanches to this lineup is a huuuuuuge step up from last year. Lets just hope the rest of this lineup reflects this quality.

I like Jamie XX but if he's your influence for making your live show more exciting then they're in trouble. Are they going to add a disco ball to their stage setup?

I don't know when you've last seen him, but his live shows are super dancey and a good time. Sometimes the music is enough to where ya don't need all of those bells and whistles believe it or not.

Yeah but his music is way better than The XX. If he influenced their live shows by telling them to stop playing their bland music that might do the trick.

I mean I was mostly alluding to Jamie's skill to play to the crowd. If it makes you feel any better they still play some of his solo stuff live, plus they remix the xx tracks in a more upbeat way. It's fine if you don't like them, but that doesn't take away from the large majority who will go tho this set and enjoy it.

The first 2 times I saw the xx that's what it was like. The first time especially is probably the most dancing I've done in recent memory. Bonnaroo wasn't like that. We were way in the back of the field, but I wasn't getting that vibe.

Way to radiate positivity, I needed a signature.
I'm flattered, but if you need to stare at something prettier:
In the original post, you have Thundercat with no TN date on his tour. He's playing the Exit/In in Nashville March 8th. Doesn't necessarily count him out but just something I noticed.

My bad, must have missed that. Just subconsciously trying to convince myself he'll be there

This is the worst attempt at "humiliation by signature" yet.
