If that number of 6k is true, they would 100% cancel the festival.
I don't know if they would after offering free tickets for the other failed festivals. It might negatively affect boots and hearts sales, if people think they'll cancel that too
I doubt that many people have even taken them up on their free ticket offers.
If anyone has free passes they aren't planning on using, I'm one of the 15 people who hasn't won some and actually wouldn't mind going.
Same, I would like a Frank Ocean redemption
What do you think of the set list he's touring? Looks like only 1-2 songs from Channel Orange, that's pretty disappointing. Also, looking at the vids of the euro fests he just played, where is this production that caused a delay, looks like a really stripped down performance, not sure if this combined with the lack of old material will hold audiences attention at a festival.

Yeah looking at the setlist there is a big lull in the middle from songs 5-11 that really get into the deep cuts. With such a stripped down and quiet show I'm not sure how that'll play. My plan is to enjoy it from the middle-back of the crowd and just take it for what it is. No expectations - just hope it surprises me which it very well could.

Same, prob just watch it from the hill. Was really hoping to hear Lost and Super Rich Kids with a live band after the disappointing Bonnaroo karaoke set in 2014.

Was actually super disappointed in that. And based off the videos I saw the show seems like a total mess. Could have been a bad night and bad video quality. I just really love Frank's music and would at least like to see him. Even if he isn't playing Bad Religion:/

I'm starting to think the guy just isn't meant for these large festival stages. The bizarre cell phone-style camera footage he's using for the screen content doesn't help keep the crowd engaged. It reminds me of what Kanye did in 14 at Roo with the screens, which were cool from an artistic perspective, but if you weren't fairly close to the stage it made seeing him fairly impossible.

100 % agree. Frank in a tent = Wonderful. Frank on a large stage = Jury is still out......
I'm hoping after these shows, he improves it a little before making an appearance at Coachella or Roo next year.
Seriously looking into going to this with the family if I can get out of on-call duty. Sent the daily breakdown to the girlfriend and she responded "that's a great lineup". She is really great. I swear.
This lineup combined with the questionable schedule is roughhhhh...however, I can't complain, I used Loudie passes I won for karoondinha to get free passes for this, so it's costing me nothing really...
Fri The Naked & Famous > Dashboard > Phantogram > Foster The People > Flume > Justice
Sat Blossoms > Death From Above > Royal Blood > Houndmouth > Louis The Child > Solange > Mura Masa > i guess goto bed early?
Sun Colony House > Rag n Bone Man > Jagwar Ma > Hundred Waters > Banks > Porter Robinson > Frank Ocean
My friend has already won 6 passes and he doesn't think he's going
Any chance your friend wants to gift two of these to a couple of internet strangers?
Pretty sure my wife and I have entered every giveaway we're eligible for, but our collective luck is nil lol. We like beer and would have plenty to share if he/she shows up

I wouldn't be surprised if Republic Live is putting their own tickets on resale websites at discounted rates. Only way they are gonna sell any at this point.
2017 Shows Sam Roberts Band, Wilco, Local Natives, Ryan Adams(!), Chance the Rapper, Future Islands, Frightened Rabbit, TOOL, Field Trip Music Festival, Gary Clark Jr., Arkells w/July Talk, Gorillaz, Tom Petty, Metallica, Muse, Incubus, Lollapalooza (!!!),Kings of Leon, Deep Purple & Alice Cooper, Father John Misty, War on Drugs

More than doable if you show up early enough at will call, and tell people to meet you there early as well. With no exceptions/compromises if people arrive late or try to dictate the terms of the sale.

Bit the bullet and ended up grabbing a couple of weekend passes and camping for $300 CAD. Even with the abysmal Saturday night, it was just too cheap to pass up.
Also, by registering our wristbands early. we're apparently entered to win tickets to Wayhome 2018

Wow...3 day passes are down to $74 USD on Stubhub right now. There has to be more to their struggles this year than we know. ID is an absolutely horrendous headliner...but $74 for Frank Ocean, Solange, Justice, The Shins, Porter Robinson, Flume etc is just crazy.
This lineup wouldn't be so bad if Imagine Dragons and Flume weren't headliners. They could have gotten literally anyone more interesting than Imagine Dragons and things would be totally different imo.
