Hangout 2018 (May 18-20): Sand in Your Buns

Hangout/Firefly sharing Pearl Jam makes a lot of sense too.

Made in America also in 13 I believe. Jay/PJ was one of the best HL duos you could possibly ask for and it happened on their inaugural year.

So there ya go. Usually 1 MAYBE 2 in a given year. Basically what I'm getting at is I doubt Hangout would ever share PJ with someone else. We'd just have to get lucky. Given the recent headliners, it looks like they want no part of a band like PJ unfortunately.

I like most of Krisp and Bob's list plus Sarah adding alt-j who I think are way pass due and Tame would be awesome! Also Pearl Jam would easily be the perfect headliner on the beach imo. I wish for this every year like I did all previous years of weezer. So let's get some Pearl Jam, Kendrick Lamar, and Justin Timberlake headliners with alt-j, Incubus, tame impala, bring back RTJ and Gamino and I'd be pretty happy lol.

As long as Hangout will keep putting up 20-25 performers I want to see from top to bottom of lineup, I'll want to keep going back. Fun weekend. Enjoyed hanging with new folks this year as well as friends I met at 2016. I think there were only a couple hours of festival I couldn't find someone I wanted to listen to.

Has anyone heard anything regards Hangout 2018? Loyalty tickets or dates?

This is basically a, if not slightly better, Hangout lineup, assuming the top four is Kendrick Lamar - Tame Impala - Deadmau5 - Beck.

Unless he happens to be on tour with the cube. Id really like to see the cube.

As I see it hangouts got a lot of cash they've saved from cancelations and sold tickets off the names of Calvin Harris, Frank Ocean, dj snake .

I won't hold Sam smith against them.

Arcade Fire, Lady Gaga, Jay-Z, U2, Bruno Mars, Bon Jovi, Daft Punk, Lorde, Metallica, Pink, Katy Perry, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Roger Waters

Since Hangout can't won't afford any of those, maybe: Tame Impala - Arctic Monkeys - Tedeschi Trucks Band - Alt-J might work out and be acceptable.  With the loss of Greg Allman and looking for someone who can fill the "Mumford" slot I would vote for TTB.  They just keep getting better and playing bigger venues and festivals.

I don't think Chris Stapleton will play the beach.  His new album is just not a beach music thing at all.  Sturgill Simpson would kill it with the show he put on at The Wharf.
