Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Barclay Crenshaw vs. Goody Grace - Pretty sure these are two separate artists, so maybe Roo is going down the path of DJ cage fights. Barclay is actually pretty solid. Easily a better electronic act here. Goody Grace is....generic at best. Would rather this was just the first guy on his own.
Mondo Cozmo - I feel like I hear 10 of these bands on every Roo lineup and they manage to find ten new ones every year. Kinda reminds me of Lucero, except not as whiskey binging sad.
Hippo Campus - I can 100% get down with this. A lot of stuff at the bottom seems to have a pop tinge to it this year. Kinda wish there was some love for less "accessible" stuff with the small acts.

Most of the acts people are getting excited for, have played Bonnaroo before. It's nothing special, it's nothing exciting. There are some decent acts in the smaller fonts but basically every other festival lineup is more intriguing than this one to me.
There are a few decent acts on here - but absolutely nothing that you couldn't catch at a different festival with a much better lineup. Good job, Bonnaroo - you're Firefly now.
Bonnaroo wishes they could book exclusives like The White Panda

That Barclay Crenshaw vs Goody Grace would probably be top 3 for me on this lineup. Claude is by far the most talented EDM artist on here and his Barclay stuff is a lot of fun!
Don't forget people who are still going... these people do this every year. Voice the opinion of maybe 10,000 out of 60,000+ people. It's gonna be the same. The music will still be dope and the vibe will be just the same! Now get on Spotify and get those playlists going! See y'all on the farm!!!
I can't believe they didn't get the Jonny Greenwood vs. Todd Terje collab. Or the Prince Paul/Gravediggaz reunion. Or the Primal Scream performing Screamadelica U.S. one off. It's obvious Bonnaroo doesn't care about my super specific tastes. The fest is dead to me!
Times are changing, edm is very relevant now. Sorry if all you old farts can't handle open mindedness and change. Roo is better off without your negative vibes

The next day and I feel the same. If I had another major festival closer, I'd go to that, but with U2 and enough on the under card to get my money's worth, I'll still probably be there. Fully expect this to sell very well though would be happy with the farm at half capacity again after how great it was last year.
LOL there was never going to be a contest there. Bonnaroo isn't even in the same ballpark as Primavera. It's like saying "man, this McDonald's tastes like shit. Might have to head back to Le Cirque."
Agreed. I was just hoping for a decent lineup out of Bonnaroo so I could avoid the airfare cost that comes along with Primavera
we flew through paris last year for free with miles, then it was super cheap to go to barcelona. for whatever reason, it's rather expensive to fly direct to barcelona from the states.

If the farm is at half capacity this year, Bonnaroo will not be a thing anymore. There's a reason LiveNation used its muscle to get U2 there, Bonnaroo needs this.
Oh I don't disagree. Didn't mean that it would be. Business wise it would be terrible. Just saying for my personal preference an emptier farm is better. If bonnaroo fails this year, then whatever. I don't have a dog in the fight that makes me care either way. I'll just find a different festival.

Did you just question why it's more expensive to fly across an ocean than stop over from Paris?
I had expected the worst but this is better than that and I might go. I'm not too surprised to see Claude VonStroke since he's been popping up on a few lineups but I'm glad he's on the bill and his side project, Barclay Crenshaw will also be a good one to see.
Again, I'll be going for the people and the experience but I'm looking forward to seeing about 1/4 of this lineup with the rest of my time checking out new stuff or hanging with Roo people.

I'm in Ohio and I'm just debating what festival I want to attend. I'm not flying anywhere so the option are only in the midwest or the south really. Bonnaroo is still in the running but that lineup certainly didn't help it's cause.

Saw Travis Scott open for Juicy J a couple years back. That dude absolute Hot trash. The fact that he is on the second line speaks to the terribleness of this lineup.
Case closed.
Does that make Coachella Hot Trash too, he's on the second line of their poster.
I love all the old fart Bonnaroovians!! They be like : "I'm an original Bonnaroo fan from 1905 where we walked in mud to CENTEROO up to our necks both ways to see Dave Matthew's and Widespread. These young wippersnappers and their loud EDM music. This line up sucks. GRRRRRRR GET OFF MY LAWN."
Wake up. You're old. Your music knowledge is limited and you're full of negativity. The Farm is still magical, the people are still amazing, the lineup is still the most diverse and I will still be there taking yo spot so dueces

That must be why I do 3 festivals a year. Because I'm old and out of touch. Got it
