Wake up. You're old. Your music knowledge is limited and you're full of negativity. The Farm is still magical, the people are still amazing, the lineup is still the most diverse and I will still be there taking yo spot so dueces

we flew through paris last year for free with miles, then it was super cheap to go to barcelona. for whatever reason, it's rather expensive to fly direct to barcelona from the states.
Did you just question why it's more expensive to fly across an ocean than stop over from Paris?

it was miles and maybe $100 to fly to paris. it was miles and like, $600 to fly to barcelona. it was more economical to connect via paris and then get a cheap flight on easyjet. Without miles, it was far more to fly to barcelona than almost any other city we could connect from - all of which were located on the other side of the atlantic ocean.
4 days of a 24 hr a day party with 60k positive people, having a blast. While seeing U2, RHCP, Cage, Portugal, Teagan and Sara, Glass Animals, Strumbellas, plus 100 other bands, for $300!!! If all you can do is whine about who SHOULD be there or who ISN'T there or how it was better before, then yes, please stay home!
Don't forget people who are still going... these people do this every year. Voice the opinion of maybe 10,000 out of 60,000+ people. It's gonna be the same. The music will still be dope and the vibe will be just the same! Now get on Spotify and get those playlists going! See y'all on the farm!!!
Except the music won't be "dope" because they booked shitty music. Bonnaroo is dead. It had a good run but it can no longer be considered elite.
I'm in Ohio and I'm just debating what festival I want to attend. I'm not flying anywhere so the option are only in the midwest or the south really. Bonnaroo is still in the running but that lineup certainly didn't help it's cause.
Highly recommend Movement. I know you like electronic music, and Movement has one of the better lineups out of any American festival this year.
I sincerely hope all of the naysayers stay home and experience copious amounts of Fomo. "Ehrrr Roo isn't the same anymore man" "they are drawing in a different crowd". I've only been going since 2009 and people showed me the ropes. It's unwritten law to show other walks of life how roovians do things. Spread the love folks. Everyone bitches every year about the line up and honestly this is my 7th roo the music has been the same since 2009 hell some of these bands even played that year.... I love reading the hate every year and laugh I wonder how much drugs you all did when you went to roo 1 time and imagined all the bands you saw instead of actually realizing its basically the same formula every year. HAHAHA see yall at the farm

Not a lot in the top 3 or 4 lines that I'm really into. I like a handful of artists and am sure I'd have a great time on Sunday with Bluegrass tent but really not sure it's worth the money/time for a trip from NY.
So are we changing the name of inforoo now? You know since we all don't like Bonnaroo anymore

I also wish they would change the name of Bonnaroo. Why not? Because the brand of Bonnaroo helps sell? What helped to build that brand that helps sell? Everything that C3 just bent over and shat on.
Would see: U2, RHCP, The Weeknd, Major Lazer, Cage the Elephant, The Head and the Heart, Tegan & Sara, Milky Chance, Cold War Kids, Bad Suns, The Orwells, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, White Reaper
Would actually be excited for: Chance, Lorde, The XX, Glass Animals, Future Islands, Portugal. the Man, Royal Blood, Car Seat Headrest
I haven't dove into the stuff I'm not familiar with yet, hopefully there's a few gems in there.
"Year of the dubstep mosh pit" ft OOkay, Yellow Claw, Borgore, Getter, Snails. But don't worry, after those mosh pits Major Lazer will have you running from one side of the field to the other as you take your shirts off and stand on one leg.
Sounds much more like something Dan Deacon would have his crowd do than Major Lazer.
I feel like it's probably not the best idea on roos part to be able to view the past years lineups on the roo site. 2013's lineup compared to this is a joke
Saw Travis Scott open for Juicy J a couple years back. That dude absolute Hot trash. The fact that he is on the second line speaks to the terribleness of this lineup.

Yes. If I'm going to be consistent. Coachella has more acts that I would be naturally excited for than Roo. So it helps itself that way. But Travis Scott is hot trash. Surprised C3 even messes with him after the disorderly conduct stuff at Lolla couple years ago.
My guess is they sacrifice him against U2 on Friday on Which stage. Regardless, I will be on the other side of the farm, so I am not asked "why I'm not having a good time at the greatest performer of all time's hype show." Those are real words he repeated at that show. It gives me full body heaves to think about how terrible that show was.

Did the ticket sales start at tier 3 today? Or did they sell the rest of Tier 2 already.
tier 2 started during presale. I bought tickets 10 minutes after they went on sale on black friday and tier 1 had already sold out. So there probably wasn't much tier 2 left this morning when it started if any at all
