Buku awful? I'll take Tycho, Run the Jewels and Grizmatik any fest, any time. I mean yeah, Yachty is on the lineup and 21 Savage and Deadmau5, but 3 of the top 6 are greatness.
Forecastle and bonnaroo lineups suck compared to previous years. Bunbury is better than previous years.
I feel the opposite about Forecastle and Bunbury.
I've never gone to Forecastle, but if I wasn't already going to a wedding that weekend I'd totally be there. It definitely started off weak, but the additions of Sturgill, Spoon, Tycho, and Real Estate alongside acts like LCD, PJ, RTJ, Danny Brown, Vince, Charles Bradley, Foxygen, and Twin Limb makes it one of the better American fests this year.
Bunbury, however, has what, Muse? They've never really had a strong lineup but at least last year they had a pretty respectable top 4 lines. This year they went completely off the rails with the only respectable acts in the top lines being ones that passed their primes years ago (Muse, DCFC, Shins) and filled in the rest with garbage acts that people will be embarrassed about a decade from now.

Poor Sasquatch. Their lineup fell from grace harder than Bonnaroo's did IMO. It's been a dream to fly across the country for some of their past lineups, now I'm not sure I'd go if I was 3 hours away instead of 20.

I have a former roommate/friend who moved to Seattle 8 or 9 years ago and been promising to come visit ever since. Always thought the chance to include Sasquatch in the plans would make it happen but starting to grow skeptical/regretful I didn't get on it while the lineups were stronger.

I am probably bias, but I really don't think Panorama is nearly as good as y'all rate it.
Frank Ocean is cool, and the three top names for Sunday are dope.
Then there's a bunch of stuff that I feel like if any other fest had done they would've been shat upon: Solange is like a bordering 3rd line name everywhere else, but is a coheadliner at Pano. Vance Joy? Girl Talk doing his mashups from 2005, 12 years since they've been relevent? A lot of people here shit on Alt J and MGMT and are now on board just because they are playing there? Tame Impala with no new music doing the same show they've been doing for almost 4 years now?
I think it's a good lineup, but very thin, and being grossly over rated. But like I said I am probably bias.

*biased
Probably.
But I can look at you with a straight face and say their lineup last year was off the charts, FYF is sick as hell, and Coachella is always great. I think Pano 2017 is just okay.
Go look at their poster, then look at Osheaga.. Almost all of the undercard Pano has is playing there too, and that lineup is wayy deeper. But nobody is ranking that one towards the top of their list.

There are some pretty uninspired choices at Pano - but you could pick names at the top of any lineup and do that. If I were to just randomly pick another NY fest - could you really defend an instance where 3 of the top 4 names on a day are Cage the Elephant, Wiz Khalifa and Logic?

True. But I am also not claiming that festival is the first, second, or even third best like most of yall are with Pano.

well the top lines of Osheaga are pretty bad.
Other acts play during the headliners. Justice will most likely play at the same time as Lorde.

somehow i have missed Tame every time they've played near me, so im ecstatic about their booking, especially as a headliner. I agree with Solange being billed too high though. Throw Bon Iver in her spot and the lineup would be near perfect. Also Alt-J are fantastic, their new songs are dope, and I dont get any of the shit talked on them.

I don't really care one way or the other, it just seemed weird to compare ubdercards but not mention the big names. The top lines of Friday and Sunday at Osheaga are pretty awful and Saturday isn't amazing either.

I'm excited about Tame because I'm (perhaps naively) expecting it to be a different set than their tour last year - perhaps more Lonerism and whatnot. And I get to see Tribe, Frank, Justice, NIN, Spoon, Future Islands, N. Jaar, Vince Staples...pretty solid.
Gov Ball and Pano are both really good this year in my opinion, kind of a toss up - I actually think Panorama this year is deeper than it was last year. Never been to a GB, but Tool, Chance, Gambino, Beach House, Phoenix, Air, the Avalanches, Royal Blood, (hell, all of Sunday), Wu-Tang has me excited.
