2017: 2/24 Twenty One Pilots 4/1 Radiohead 6/7 Glass Animals 9/10 Modest Mouse 9/21 Arcade Fire 9/29 Kings of Leon 10/3 Foster the People 10/17 The xx 10/22 LCD Soundsystem 11/8 Bon Iver
It's a 3, but it's exceptionally difficult to bill a major festival and score lower than that because you'd have to try very hard to find a lineup that features zero artists that any given person wants to see

+1 because it's Bonnaroo +1 because of U2 +2 because of the strange times with friends and new and awesome folks -1 because my Roo streak stops at 9 with this shitty lineup. Had an open mind last year, but this is just ridiculous. Wanted to ride off into the sunset at 10.
Overall: 3 (currently sobbing into my massive '09 ticket stub)

For the first time in over a decade, I literally don't see a single name I'd pay money to see.
Last time I went was 2013 and I tried squeezing in 20+ acts. This is... unreal.
"All in all, the creative act is not performed by the artist alone.. the spectator brings the work in contact with the external world by deciphering and interpreting its inner qualifications and thus adds his contribution to the creative act." -- Marcel Duchamp

there's not a single artist on there that you enjoy?
The way I figure it, it costs me $500 to attend Bonnaroo between the ticket, camping and travel. This lineup is only worth half of that to me and I am actually budgeting $150 for the U2 get because I'm a big fan. The other 6 names that interest me are only of such limited interest that they barely add up to the other $100 that would justify half the cost so just 5/10 from me.
Reasons I (use to) go to Bonnaroo: Headliners are able play a full headlining set since there is no time the venue has to close: +1 Rare/reunion acts that are way out of left field that you could only catch at Roo: 0 Music starting at noon and ending after 4: 0 Legacy non headlining act that I normally wouldn't travel to see, but can catch at roo with a bunch of people my age: 0 Longer set times than competing festivals: 0 At least a couple punk and metal bands: 0 Other bands I'd be exciting for - U2: +1
I feel like I'd be struggling to fill my day with enough shows I want to go to, and the majority of them will end up being on Friday from 6-LN anyways so I'd only get to catch half of them.
I'd still go if there was no music, and they just took someone's Ipod and played it over a sound system. If your good time can be instantly ruined by what artists are there or not there, you're missing the point.
