Whether it's your first Bonnaroo or you’re a music festival veteran, we welcome you to Inforoo.
Here you'll find info about artists, rumors, camping tips, and the infamous Roo Clues. Have a look around then create an account and join in the fun. See you at Bonnaroo!!
Hopefully they at least have actual headliners next year and not just a bunch of sub and mi-carders at the top.
Good joke.
They can't all be hits. Just pointing out how none of these bands are headlining (though at looks like you guys had that covered on the previous page).

Oh you're referring to Arctic Monkeys and Run the Jewels, etc? Ok. I'm sorry. I thought you were talking about this year's headliners or something lol. My bad.

I dont know how they view it but would Roo be Live Nation's biggest festival now? Would the book it vs. Coachella to try and best them as THE festival this year?
I would really love for Bonnaroo to pull something together next year that gets me excited. So this maybe? Round out the top 20 with any of Grizzly Bear, Hall & Oates, Anderson Paak, Erykah Badu, and Spoon and they'd be on their way
Fleetwood Mac | Drake | Arcade Fire Lana Del Ray | Future | ODESZA | Queens of the Stone Age Dillon Francis | The National | Run the Jewels

I feel like Lollapalooza would be their top/biggest festival, as they have different versions of it in many other countries now.
I think it's more of a Coachella vs. Lolla rather than Coachella vs. Bonnaroo.

Please allow me to rephrase in a more pointed way:
If Bonnaroo could just not elevate a band that was billed in the mid-card in 2014 to a headliner when that band has done literally nothing to warrant a jump to headlining status, that would be great.
This goes for Vampire Weekend, Phoenix, Arctic Monkeys, The Flaming Lips, Empire of the Sun, and anyone else I've forgotten.
Vampire Weekend would be the only one who could make that kind of leap in my mind, because their last album was a stone cold classic. If their next album was on that level.. maybe. But since they lost a key member, I don't see that happening.
I'll venture that TWOD will never headline a major music festival. Given the direction fests are going, they're just too dad-rocky to pull in a substantial younger audience. I don't think I could see the even cracking the top 10 at Roo, Coach, Lolla, etc.
Is Fleetwood Mac- Drake - Arcade Fire too much for the top? Seems on par w/ U2/RHCP/Weeknd
Somebody could look this up to be precise, but I am pretty sure Fleetwood/Drake/AF would be more expensive compared to this year headliners. Fleetwood Mac and Drake could both be #1 for Roo.

I don't think booking both FM & Drake would be much different than booking FM & Jay Z, which a lot of people seem to see as a possibility. I think the difference is more that AF, in addition to those two, seems unlikely. I wanna say someone like The Killers would be more realistic.
