I was really bored and made a realistic(?) full mock for next year. I couldn't help but put planetarium in there, but that's almost guaranteed not to happen. I had The National on here too for it to make a little more sense, but tragically switched them for the 1975 because they just seem inevitable. I also almost put Pusha T in for 2 Chainz to add another Gorillaz collaborator into the lineup, but who knows if King Push will actually come out this year. Also, return of a big metal act with Gojira.

Brand New has been on my wishlist for years. I'm not sure if it'll ever happen though. I think maybe there should be more EDM on here since they have The Other Stage now. But honestly, I'm not good with lower tier EDM artists so I might not even recognize them.

Brand new pop up on festival lineups every year, assuming the breakup they keep on putting off never happens i can see bonnaroo being one of the couple of fests they play.

Probably one of the few here that would like to see the Killers on the farm..
I think it's time... Even as a fan of the Killers, I've always wanted to avoid them taking up a headlining spot... but I really do think they'd be a solid #3 or #4.
Haha are we really gonna pretend there's a chance in hell the Killers will be #4?
If they came to Roo, I'd assume they would be a clear-cut #3... but I can see them being anywhere from #2-#4 on the bill. If Bonnaroo went big with #1 (like Fleetwood Mac, U2, etc), I'd assume #2 is more likely than #4. If they went smaller across the headliners like Lolla did this year, I can see the Killers being a strong #4 behind a historically weaker #1-#3.
Sadly, we live in a world where The Killers were #2 on this lineup. They're not dropping to 4
This is very much the only scenario where I can see them dropping to #4 at Bonnaroo: 3 slightly higher billed #1-3... none of which being a huge name/money suck like Fleetwood Mac/U2.
Once again, I think The Killers are a #3 at Roo if the lineup is as strong as we are accustomed to. But in a scenario where they pass on a legacy act, I can see them dropping to #4.

Even at ACL they're the #1 act on their day. They will be the same at Bonnaroo, making them top 3.

All this discussion of The Killers lineup placement raises an interesting point. Note on the Voodoo 2017 lineup The Killers are at #3 above LCD Soundsystem at #4. Does anyone think LCD Soundsystem as a headliner is responsible for poor ticket sales of various festivals in 2016 and low key how were attendance figures at Roo 2017 vs Roo 2016 and do you think the purchase of Bonnaroo by MTV changed it and did Phil Lesh not come back to Bonnaroo because of Kanye West?

LCD Soundsystem definitely didn't draw commensurate with their billing... same was apparently the case at Coachella. But I don't think LCD Soundsystem was solely responsible for lower attendance, but rather a combination of 3 headliners that failed to draw younger demographics.
LiveNation is definitely going to change Bonnaroo one way or another.
I haven't heard anything about Phil Lesh vs Kanye until this post...

Moderat.
alabama shakes are playing sheds this summer are they a headliner
And instead of saying all of your goodbyes - let them know you realize that life goes fast - It's hard to make the good things last-you realize the sun doesn't go down - It's just an illusion caused by the world spinning round
