No way Tool plays. NIN I can see happening though. This fest was big enough last year, don't need a huge gaggle of mouthbreathing Tool fanboys taking over the venue.
Would rather have the focus be obscure/eccentric stuff again.
Haven't seen anyone mention them in this thread I don't think, but The Prodigy would be a 100% perfect fit for D4N.
Tool seems like too big of a ROCK act anyways for such an electronic driven fest. I wouldn't expect them to go from Aphex, Kaskade, and Bjork to Tool and Arcade Fire.

Not sure how good of a fit they are but Death From Above? Just announced a new album and tour and the last date is December 1st in Toronto, no TX dates at all.

Big funk dance party could work - for my money probably a lot better than some of the late night options last year unless someone absolutely needs a DJ to play dance music. They were one of the most talked about Bonnaroo acts this year with that set taking a lot of people by surprise. Good for them. They don't really have any southern dates outside of Charleston & Nashville, so I was assuming they would probably come down this way in the Spring.
Turkuaz will be touring with the Suffers (Houston's own) with no TX dates with a big December gap. They dress like clue characters and they've got pretty lights.
Theyre more of a funk band than jam. With acts like Blood Orange and K Washington, pushing towards an act like Turkauz isn't far off.
They have none of the critical acclaim.
I don't think theyd be billed nearly as high as either of those guys. Just as a lower tier act. They might have too many people for the smallest stage/indoor stage, but they would be a nice early green stage act.
