So if they moved the fest somewhere else, like the places that have been mentioned already (can't remember names..) they would still be walking distance to downtown right? That shit was so convenient. Never Uber'd or anything once. If they would just open a back door to last year's venue like the yellow stage then it wouldn't be such a clusterfuck inside and at that bottleneck by the main doors.
It wasn't all that close to downtown in year one, so I don't know. Wouldn't count on anything. Hoping for Jamiroquai. And Portishead. And Nine Inch Nails.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.

Haha. He ran me off in the 3rd song. I was hating on that set and had to leave. I'd seen part of the ACL 2013 show, and it seemed better then. Maybe I should have stopped in later instead of earlier to that.
A handful of quality house acts would elevate this festival even more.
I really hope not. For whatever reason, nostalgia in some cases? , a lot of people on Inforoo like house, lengthy buildups and such. Maybe it's because all that doesn't translate with alcohol as well as harder and wilder stuff, but I felt like there was way too much house last year for my tastes. I'm not saying generic shit, lots of it was deeper house or experimental or even ARCA who not exactly fitting the definition of straight house, nevertheless plays dancey Latin flavored house.
Even Squarepusher who I otherwise kind of dig hard played a mostly house-inspired set. I want more experimental shit at D4N that I'm not going to see very often. JMO
No but seriously Galantis is like the worst fucking thing on the planet.
They have some catchy songs, but saying Kaskade sucks while having Galantis as an avatar is akin to saying Subway sucks but regularly eating at Quiznos.

Most of Kaskade wasn't during SOPHIE or Arca but ok.
You're right, there was a 30min set change between SOPHIE and Arca, lol? Not sure what point you're trying to make.
Also, during that set change I did attempt to step outside and photograph Travis Scott but of course that auto-tune wanker was like 30min late so I just went and drank instead.
I'd rather see Arcade Fire at D4N then at Frank Erwin Center. I don't know why I don't really see them since they don't incorporate too much visual production in their show....but I invite the change.
