pretty bummed tbh, still not thinking QOTSA fit well, Arcade maybe but im also not holding breath for that. Hopefully on the rock side of things they get some combo of Slowdive, Ride, Spiritualized, and Gizzard.
Sound on Sound dropped, and I didn't think of Yeah Yeah Yeahs, but they fit here well. But for now I am going to assume S.o.S. whipped out a radius clause to keep them exclusive in Texas for the rest of the year, considering they are their #1.
Other note, you wouldn't think there's crossover, but Run the Jewels, Thundercat and a Austin/Houston local band named Night Drive played both fests in 2016 - so anything's possible.
St. Vincent tour announcement, no Texas, not at Sound on Sound, last date on tour is NYC 12/2, the Euro shows kick off the tour. I'd be pretty into seeing her again.
I'm so ready for this lineup and we're not even close.
I know, right? I'd really like to know whether some of the better stuff from III Points will make it onto the lineup so that I can write off going to that.

Or if Spiritualized is playing so I don't have to drive to CA.

Has there been much overlap the last two years? The fests are months apart.

Announced that it's December 15th through the 17th an hour ago. Hasn't it always been announced as a 2 day festival with a preparty? Looks like we may get the lineup earlier this year.

Every year I used to wish Sarah Jaffe would play a cafe stage at Bonnaroo. Now I'd just like to see her play an early spot at Day For Night or ACL. Her shows are always fun and I can see her often here, I really just would like to see her gain some exposure outside the region.
I hadn't been to this yet so I was wondering if the unique line up they had last year worked out for them. Adding another day would make it seem so. I haven't been this excited for a lineup in so long.
I hope they book more good electronic acts that aren't quite as weird this year. Some stuff I'm I'd love to see here.
