Yeah Fred. It's the most interesting lineup in a long time. And I don't even know half of the **** on it. I'm going to try to start on some of the research today and will be sure to post - as will everyone - if I run across anything of note. Just bought one more ticket which sucks because I paid $509 for 5 tickets back in January and $250 for the one holdout who decided yesterday he was going. We also got a Southside Downtown highrise with massive balcony on two sides of the building to stare at downtown while recovering. I can't f'n wait.
the trailer looked like it had Corbin x Shlomo which isn't on the poster. Also nothing with pretty lights as far as Live/DJ (or anyone really).
All the recent "episodes" have been with his band - Derek, Chris Karns, Alvin Ford Jr., Borahm Lee and Brian Coogan. We have seen them a bunch of times and also have watched a most of the episodes since Episode 6. They all ruled.
also, love how Tyler is now ahead of PL on a lineup. 8-9 years ago I wouldn't have believed that.
Fuck that asshole. I flipped him off and walked out the last 2 times I saw him. Of course he was flipping me off at the time too so it was no love lost either way. Tyler licks Pretty Lights' taint.

I haven't seen him since before he started doing the live stuff (and its looking like he'll be up against someone I haven't seen) so I'm a little torn. I really liked his early stuff and the show I saw was a really good one.
St. V, PL, Jamie, Phantogram, Sky Ferreira, Of Montreal, shlohmo, shabazz palaces, blackie (this one's a duh though) have all been booked by FPSF/Pegstar before, so I guess we're starting to see their go-to's/past FPSF's might be good indicators for who will play future years.
It's excellent - cutting edge level stuff if you groove to what he plays. Everything's a little tricked out, and you'll get a bunch of good songs (has been playing Strawberry Letter 23 lately). His free styling isn't that great, but it's 1 minute out of 60/90, no big deal.
By the way, my blind presales were $93.60 plus tax which was $101.85. I'll be purchasing those again when they become available. Trust factor is now extremely high.
I saw PL with his live band in 2013 and it was really good... But i haven't really heard anything from him since about then, so no clue what his sets are like now.
Considering you've found the need to respond to my threads as if you are threatened by me I offer you some peace my confused counterpart. May you find peace in your restless soul.
Most excited for Jamie xx, James Blake, Mount Kimbie, Justice, and St. Vincent right now.
Also - Thom Yorke, Nina Kraviz, Of Montreal, Venetian Snares, Shlohmo, DJ Tennis, Marcus Marr, Priests, Forest Swords, The Album Lead, Princess Nokia, and Bjarki.

I'm so incredibly jealous of all of you going! This lineup is what dreams are made of, but working in a bakery means I can never take a vacation in December.

Here are a couple of recent Pretty Lights Live performances with his new band to skim through. Lots of jam/improve and infinitely better than Kaskade or Odesza:
Chicago last month - Episode 8 (includes Chali 2Na in spots)
