I mostly meant that MIA would likely have a preheadliner whose audience, or at least a good number of it, goes elsewhere afterwards - making it very easy to get a good spot for Depeche Mode, if they were to actually do the fest.

Depeche Mode makes zero sense for this festival, demographic-wise. The majority of their fanbase will not want to stand around with a bunch of 17-25 year olds all day and I imagine, for the price they ask for, they can get a lower teir "rock" band or pop headliner. That being said, they have the date open for maybe they're in talks? Also, for whatever reason, DM has a tendency to play AC rather than the proper Philadelphia area.

Yep you are right-- Depeche Mode isn't doing this - I just meant it would be awesome if they were.

Feel like RTJ is overdue to play this. They have no dates past Osheaga in August right now and it will have been 8 months since they were last in Philly.
Sheeran's manager has confirmed there will be no festivals on this leg of the tour! So no MIA.
You're probably right, but Kevin Parker of Tame Impala also said they weren't doing any performances. Lupe Fiasco retired about 20 times. Smashmouth is still performing. Anything can happen!!

Isn't he also booked for both nights of this festival?
no way Fall Out Boy would headline. I could live with Linkin Park but i doubt they play
Fall Out Boy are an arena act and have collaborated with Jay-Z before. They can definitely move more tickets that Kings Of Leon and Nine Inch Nails in the US at this point.

Ummm not sure I agree with this.
With what part? NIN hasn't been relevant to the under 35 crowd in at least a decade. Kings Of Leon have been coasting ever since 2009 (relevancy-wise). Fall Out Boy have re-branded themselves as a hip-hop infused pop/rock act this decade and done multiple arena/ampitheater tours since 2013.

FOB do a great job at pulling 8-13k people each show when they tour...however, when was the last time they didn't do a co-headlining tour? They've morphed into Gary Glitter/Jock Jams style pop music, complete trash and going the Twenty One Pilots live route, with more backing tracks than live instruments.
However, if you throw them at the top of a festival bill, it will fail...badly...but, if there's one festival in the US that could get away with it, it's this trash bag. Kings of Leon and NIN have much more respected back catalogs and make for a much better festival headliner.

In 2016 they toured arenas with AWOLNATION and PVRIS as openers. I agree they aren't going to be a top draw, headliner-wise, but I think they're a nice headliner to go with the usual EDM/Pop that this festival focuses on, and probably cheaper than most headliners.

Given the fact they haven't even announced the festival is actually taking place (even though we all know it is), does anyone have even a whisper of possible rumors for this years lineup? I have gone every year other than last years due to the heavy Rap on the lineup. Hoping for a more diverse lineup like in past years (no offense DJ Khaled)
pre-sale is live til 10PM tonight. 105 plus fees for 2 days. I got 2 and the total came to 266. Should be able to make a nice profit on one for re-sale later.

Thanks for posting! Do you have any idea what the regular priced tickets were last year? I'm trying to convince some friends to go and they're wondering what the normal price is. I think it was around $199 but I'm not positive.
