Some interesting tidbits about this year's layout:
The Sahara tent, will move from its long-time space near the rose garden at Empire Polo Club to a larger space next door at Eldorado Polo Club.
The parabola-shaped structure, with a dome making it resemble what Tollett calls “a giant Quonset hut,” will be 25 percent larger than the old Sahara.
Headliners for the Sahara tent probably won’t be announced until the week of the festival, but the expanded Sahara makes it possible for high-profile DJs such as Kygo and Illenium, and electronic duos such as ODESZA, Chromeo and Louis the Child to play the Sahara.
Moving into the Sahara’s old space will be the mid-size Mojave Tent. It is also being enlarged.
But the venue isn’t just increasing in size. It’s new position, just a short walk from the Do LaB stage, the Beer Barn and the new signature art piece, Spectrum (a 70-foot tower of what appears to be Life Savers that has a walkway to the top) will be better protected from the sun. It will be shaded all afternoon, Tollett said, which will keep it cooler.
I'm really excited to see all the changes they're making this year! That art piece sounds pretty interesting too!

The Sahara position change and size upgrade sound great. I've only ever been when the sun's up so hopefully I'll finally be able to experience the production at night. More than the Sahara though, I'm really glad they're expanding the Mojave. There's a been a ton of great acts there the past two years I've gone and it felt like if you weren't there to move in at the end of one set, you were kind of relegated to the back third or even outside the tent. Good to know they're finally listening to the people

Bigger Mojave sounds amazing. Hoping they move the DoLab to the old Mojave spot and the Sonora to the old DoLab. I'm sure that's too much shuffling though.
Edit: and the article says the dolab is staying put.
What are some must-see acts on Sunday? The only ones I would really be looking forward to are King Krule, Kamasi Washington, and Noname.
My only two must-sees would be Talaboman and Motor City Drum Ensemble
I'd be pretty hype for A Perfect Circle, Aurora, Miguel, Cuco, John Maus, Kolsch, Japanese Breakfast, Omar S, Michael Mayer, Peggy Gou, Snail Mail, Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever, B Boys

MCDE very rarely plays the US, so if you’re at all interested catch that. I also really like Michael Mayer and Japanese Breakfast, and John Maus does a wild show.
