What are some must-see acts on Sunday? The only ones I would really be looking forward to are King Krule, Kamasi Washington, and Noname.
My only two must-sees would be Talaboman and Motor City Drum Ensemble
I'd be pretty hype for A Perfect Circle, Aurora, Miguel, Cuco, John Maus, Kolsch, Japanese Breakfast, Omar S, Michael Mayer, Peggy Gou, Snail Mail, Rolling Blackouts Costal Fever, B Boys
are you going?
Really good list. My top 10 for the day is roughly:
1. A Perfect Circle 2. King Krule 3. Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever 4. Kamasi Washington 5. Miguel (seen him twice, he's amazing) 6. John Maus 7. The Drums 8. Japanese Breakfast 9. Snail Mail 10. Fidlar / B Boys / Cardi B

I wasn't planning on it, but out of all the festivals I'm interested in so far this would be the cheapest because of distance. I'm trying to convince one of friends who you met before Hans last year to go again Weekend 2, I don't really want to camp alone. We'll see.
I'm having second thoughts if I should get a pass for this, so I'm just gonna list all must-see acts (especially those I haven't seen) I'd like to see in three days:
Fri: Jamiroquai, Soulwax, Jean-Michel Jarre, Kelela, Detroit Love, Carpenter Brut Sat: David Byrne, Jungle, Django Django, Yaeji Sun: John Maus, Kölsch, Japanese Breakfast

I made it up. I make everything up. I dont actually ever have any scoops or inside info. Im just usually good at guessing. But I guessed wrong this time. Forgive me you guys, please! This is all I have.

Or you could just explain how you got your info and made that statement at the time, and accept you were wrong, and move on?
Of course you're going to get called out if you offer up a statement like that, as would I (and have in the past).
Entitled sarcastic responses like the one above just fuels the fire of hate against you.
how low do you guys think prices for weekend 2 will realistically go? they've been slowly going lower for the past couple weeks, trying to judge when I should jump on it. probably need to buy within the next two weeks
Pure speculation is they'll keep dropping until mid to late next week and you'll see a bit of a dead cat bounce as people realize its April and firm up their plans and buy.

This is my take as well. I was expecting them to go a little lower than this, but by the end of next the prices will get a little unpredictable.

Guess this lineup is pretty popular.
It seems the Eminem booking didnt generate as big a backlash among the GP as it did among fest vets. Looks like all of the majors that booked Eminem are moving tickets fairly well. It also helps that it doesn't look like he has an actual tour lined up as well.

I'm starting to get serious fomo, last year was just much fucking fun. Easily the best festival I've ever been to. This years lineup isn't that great for my taste, but that's probably because I knew I wasn't going and didn't make my spotify playlist with every artist. jealous of everyone going this year.

Yeah, I've been pretty shocked. Had a couple friends who either went last year as a "need to do Coachella once" thing or said "this is the last Coachella for me" at the end of the year, who are telling me about how much they want to get back for Eminem and how upset they're missing Eminem, etc. It's bizarre for me but I guess there was a lot of demand for him (I'm probably tainted by seeing him once at 'Roo '11 and thinking it sucked but sounds like most boardies hate the booking too).
Demand will always be high for this festival. If ya miss out on presale and can't find anyone willing to part for face, paying around $500 seems almost like a guarantee at this point (at least that's been my experience).

Even without Radiohead and Kendrick, I’m much more into this year’s lineup than last. A lot more interesting stuff going on for my taste. I know people are dragging them for booking the Post Malones and Cardi Bs of the world, but I’ll take that over all the re-tred big room EDM littering last year’s top lines.

Weekend 2 always has a glut of sellers in the last couple weeks before the festival and most of them are desperate to unload. The soft demand for this year just exacerbates that. Stubhub sellers are already taking a loss and the low price on there is dropping daily.
Wait it out and you'll see panic selling in the $300 range after Wk 1 is done. The last time Wk 2 couldn't be had for significantly under face was 2014.
Oh I can promise you they will be putting plenty of hip hop in there too.
I wonder if they'd throw Migos in there. Seems insane
Wouldnt surprise me, the crowds align. Theyve done it plenty in the past with Gucci Mane, Mac Miller, DJ Khaled, Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, Skepta, Vince Staples, Rae Sremmurd, G-Eazy, etc
