Every year they've had some really great shows in there. Pusha T, Gaslamp x Thundercat, Gaslamp x Gza, Death, Dj Premier. Busta is cool I suppose but at that time one Saturday I wouldn't be caught dead inside or in line to see a show. That's just wasted time. I don't ever remember them live streaming the Heineken though I may be wrong.
On the Jarre note, on the Coachella boards he's "confirmed" for second to last on the Outdoor. About to be the most empty late Outdoor set of all time? Especially if Jamiroquai is following him.

Yeah I'm not even sure JMJ would fill a tent. Maybe people will fill in when they see his light show if he plays the Outdoor. There's a video of him playing in Argentina recently and the production looks crazy.

yeah his production is crazy and the dude is a real legend, but at coachella in 2018? seems wild to have him there.
maybe if like Kygo was after him the turnout would be decent

I dunno, I remember seeing the Rapture outdoor during the Pixies reunion in 2004 and i think there were like 100 of us.

is this a humblebrag about seeing the Rapture at Coachella in 2004? cause I'm jealous
Tried getting into JMJ, but I don't get him at all.
I just think it's wild that he was doing that stuff 40+ years ago.
I think he's an example of the Seinfeld Effect for me. I can appreciate him, but I can't really enjoy him. I may wander by his set to see what he's up to, though.

you gotta do the full on electronic music legends day: Moodymann, Carl Craig, Jamiroquai, Soulwax, JMJ, and Kygo
-I was super close for The Replacements in 2014 as they were a dream come true booking so didn't realize it, but everyone later said their set was almost empty -When I left Phoenix for Sigur Ros in 2013, that set was near empty - between Phoenix/Disclosure/etc. in 2013, they got it rough

Disclosure was Sunday but they played the same time as New Order I think.

Fuck the rest, I'm riding the rail for the true legend that day.

I know you have said that you like dancier stuff which this isn't. It is pioneering electronic/new age shit going back to the early 70's. He used to do giant outdoor laser shows around the world, and those were usually free and some of the biggest productions of their day. He was always into giant productions. It's not that big of a deal now as almost everyone has lasers and cool lighting effects. But I'd be surprised if this isn't one of the biggest productions and certainly the most eclectic of Coachella 2018.
If you have a chance, spend about 25 seconds just skimming random points on this video from Argentina earlier in the year.
I caught JMJ on his tour last year. Not the biggest fan of his sound, but the show was phenomenal! If nothing else, everyone should try to see at least a few minutes of his set.
Who even has energy for after shows at Coachella? It’s so draining everyday.
I believe these are more geared toward the people who either just party all day without going to the festival, or pop in and out of the festival. The Electric Carnival types.
