Agreed. I did not care for White Iverson when it came out but it got it's hooks into me. And Candy Paint, Rock Star, Congratulations are all great songs.
We can argue how much of that greatness is due to Post's talent and how much is due to producers and songwriters, but they are still great songs.
You can say the same for almost all names in hip hop and pop. Cardi B didn't write or produce a single song on her album that she is getting universal praise for.
Except Macklemore never even made onto the Coachella line up, Posty did it twice which is probably no parameter of how good an act is or isn't but I'm just saying.

Yep, according to an article by Vulture every artist got payed atleast $7 mill which is 3,5 per set. I actually know that Paul McCartney costed around 2 million euro when he played Rock Werchter (in '17) and I know The Rolling Stones cost between 2-3 million euro (in '14) so that's where I came from

This camping delay is a real bummer. I bought a companion pass to meet with a group that was going to get there real early thursday. Now they probably won't get a good camping spot and I lost $60. Yikes.

Yeah that's rough. I feel bad for people flying in too. We usually get there Thursday evening, driving from San Diego, and there is no line or traffic or anything. I'm not even sure when then best time would be to show up. I feel like 3 a.m. on Friday is going to be a nightmare but getting there late would result in missing shows. Not stoked
Wow I can't imagine how many people's plans this messed up, but that wind out there is no joke and somone definitely could have gotten hurt.
I imagine the only thing they can really do is partially refund people and people will have to drive out to like Riverside to stay in hotels that aren't crazy expensive or booked.
This is my nightmare. It better be a literal hurricane, what the fuck are we supposed to do if we're stranded in Indio? I have friends flying in and shuttling up tomorrow evening? Friday morning is gonna be a shit show

Weekend 2 is cancelled guys. They said they're just going to show Weekend 1's livestream at the Palm Springs movie theater for free to the first 100 people to arrive.
EDIT: And apparently VIP pass holders get free popcorn and soda.
Seriously though, there's gonna be thousands of people just homeless stranded in Indio. I get that the palm tree fell last week but Christ. This is gonna be suchhhhhh a shit show.
As some1 going W2 next year for the first time, I fully expect there to be some sort of issue similar to this. God forbid a big trip that I plan like this would go smoothly. Best of luck to everyone heading there this weekend. Hopefully it all works out.
