The secondary market will go down once everyone receives their physical wristband. Thats when people list the most on StubHub, etc, cause they can get their money right away.
Right now if you sold your ticket on StubHub, you dont get any money until you actually ship the wristband.

Oh right, good point, although usually prices tick up a bit right then then drop a week or so later.
The only real risk fact is new music/album from Beyoncé in March suddenly driving up demand.
The writer of the article fucked it up. The May dates are a couple butt-rock festivals (Northern Invasion and Rock on the Range).
And secondary market will definitely be down this year. Wait until 10 days out and you should be able to get face for Wk 1 and definitely below face for Wk 2.

So Hop Along is releasing a new album in April and just released tour dates for a May-June U.S. tour with no west coast dates. They've played FYF multiple times so I imagine they'd be high up on GV's booking list for this year. Any chance they are a late add this year? They were one of the top small font acts I wanted to see the most on the poster this year, so was upset they weren't on originally and now I'm just plain confused with a new April record and no west coast tour dates.
To throw the tin foil hat on, they are playing Brooklyn two days before Gov Ball and Atlanta a few days after Shaky Knees, so maybe they routed their tour thinking they were going to do fests then decided to wait a year in hopes of bigger billing and dropped?
Get ready for 11 months of speculation about Elton John in 2019. His farewell tour has all of April off.
I would imagine those January dates at Staples Center count him out.
I would imagine not for a big farewell tour. There's going to be minimal overlap between Coachella attendees and - mostly older - crowd that wants to see him for one last time at the Staples Center. GV is putting on the shows too.
HL / Sub Florence + the Machine / Disclosure Kanye West (first show back) / The 1975 Elton John (last U.S. show) / Alabama Shakes
Actually I just saw the tour is a THREE year tour lol

Officially made the decision today to sell my hotel/ticket to Coachella this year. Holding out hope that Soulwax/Jamiroquai appear on FYF/Panorama's lineup.
Moodymann, Moodymann, Moodymann, Moodymann, Moodymann, Moodymann, Moodymann (Moodymann!), spent hunnid racks on a new chain, my bitch love to do cocaine.
I kind of have the feeling that Soulwax will only briefly tour the US and play Coach. I don't really see them coming back for mid-tiers. Would like to be wrong though.

That would make sense, as 2manydjs and Underworld didn’t play much else when they played in 2016.

How much? And what weekend?
It was 400 for Wk1, but its already sold to a friend of mine.
Saw St. Vincent tonight at the Palladium. Good golly was that show good.
I know she's been showing up on plenty of other posters so there's no real "exclusivity" but man am I thankful they stretched the radius clause to make sure she's on the poster this year.
Now, if only GV can come through and schedule Friday so we can realistically see full St. Vincent, War on Drugs, Jamiroquai, and Soulwax sets.

With The Weeknd apparently headlining Panorama, he may be releasing a new album. If he does, this booking would be similar to how Kendrick's booking played out.
