1. Foster The People 2. 3. Third Eye Blind 4. Cashere Cat 5.Yeah Yeah Yeahs 6. Brockhampton 7. 6Lack 8. Cut Copy 9. 10. Sylvan Esson 11. Wishing for Manchester Orchestra, just don't think it's connected enough 12.
I don't think 4 is Cashmere Cat. He played Pano last year and theres not much connection in that clue other than "cat'. It's like saying it could also be Cat Power, Cat Stevens, Rainbow Kitten Surprise.
I like the guy who said Siamese Twins / The Cure - definitely the most connection clue-wise
I think the youngins on reddit got this one...someone named Billie Eilish...has a song called Copycat. Seems to be the most likely

I’m really starting to get the impression that this may be the first year when I don’t know a majority of the artists in the lineup. I held on as long as I could, but it appears I may have finally lost touch with what the kids are listening to, these days.

I'm 22 and just heard both Bodak Yellow and Despacito for the first time yesterday. And it was only because I was like "Oh I should probably check out those songs"

I've still never heard either one of those and I hope never will. I feel like I'd have been better off if I had never heard Mambo #5 back in the day either

Neither was a bad song, but neither struck me as anything close to the best pop or rap song I've heard this year

Bodak knocks, as far as I'm concerned. I like it more than Bad and Boujee, although that song finally grew on me.
Despacito is fine. I get why it's big.
Neither is as dumb and hollow as something like Mambo No. 5.
The most prevalent other guess I saw was Foster the People, due to their first album being titled Torches.
I think that actually makes more sense considering they're in just about every festival now and why reference the worst SP album
First clue is actually more likely to be Maggie Rogers. Not that I know who that is but based on research from redditors that actually seems just as likely.

Just listened to about 30 seconds of her and got a slyvan Esso vibe. Which is good. Song I listened to was Alaska

Maggie's great, and whether that clue is meant to point to her I'm guessing she'll be at a bunch of festivals next summer, Gov Ball included

It's funny how, every time I Google someone and see, "is a singer, songwriter, and producer," in their bio, I know almost immediately what their music is going to sound like.
Eh, she's not bad, and it could be that I'm grumpy because I had a rough time sleeping last night, but it just feels like we're kind of reaching peak monogenre, here.
