I’m thinking Khalid cause the routing makes sense, SZA has a few NY dates after Gov Ball and Khalid had a really popular tweet about him getting 5 Grammy noms.
In a perfect world this is a two-for-one clue. Khalid's tour dates make sense for him to play either Saturday or Sunday. Sticking with my guess of him getting the Marshmello slot

Yeah I mean I think Khalid will be there regardless. But it's entirely possible SZA will be too and the clue could refer to either of them.
Would love that. As of now, however this fest isn't shaping up to be for me. Based on the youth of last year, the attendance of Sunday (Tool) being the weakest, the "leaked" clues and now the 3 official clues being no one I have even the slightest interest of seeing. I am holding out hope but getting worried thus far

Yeah, I see your concern it's a bit worrisome.
However Gov Ball is always going to have a bunch of acts skewed for the kids. So maybe it makes more sense to reveal the Kesha's and Khalid's in the clues since it's mostly younger people who even care about the clues. Then the more mature/indie/rock acts will just fill out the lineup when it is actually revealed.

I really hope you're right. I'm in the same boat - I'm mildly interested in Maggie Rogers and would check out Kesha if no one I was really into was playing at the same time...but nothing we've seen so far has really gotten me excited. Maybe Yeah Yeah Yeahs, if the map one bears out?

Agreed - but unfortunately I think that the map clue was actually referencing Khalid's song "Location".
Certainly still possible but with YYY's playing a Goldenvoice Fest in London the week prior I think Panorama is probably a safer bet.

I don’t think I’ll ever feel the need to buy a three day pass to gov ball again. They found their market and it isn’t me judging by these clues.
I just keep thinking back to the 2014 and 2015 lineups and wondering, "How did we get here?"
I dunno. I make a lot of noise about feeling old and out of touch, but then again, I had a blast with the lineup at 2017 GovBall, so I guess we'll see. A lot of it's going to ride on the top two to three lines of each day, for me.
Also, if they did somehow manage to achieve something they've been trying to achieve forever and book Pearl Jam, all bets are off.
