My first large amphitheater concert was Third Eye Blind/Our Lady Peace/Eve 6. I haven't seen them since so it'd be kind of decent for me although I'd rather see the other two.

Do they play "How's It Gonna Be" > "Jumper" > "Semi-Charmed" b2b2b at the end of their sets because would be a nice little way to pass 12 minutes or so while I sit my ass down and eat

Ha, I saw that tour at Hammerstein Ballroom in '98. THe first time I ever saw Third Eye Blind is making the trip to Hartford, CT in the fall of 97 where they were sandwiched in between The Offspring and Reel Big Fish. Ah, the 90's...

The con: Third Eye Blind is meh.
The pro: At least it's not Kanye.
As someone said above, this might be an alright mid-afternoon sit-on-a-blanket set. I wouldn't mind hearing "Jumper" live.
So far, though, of all the artists it's generally considered as accepted are playing, only the potential Gaslight Anthem reunion really revs my engine.

I don't know if it's b2b2b but they play them all. If you've never seen them I mean it's fun and nostalgic and they sound pretty good.
The problem is that...
A. The lead singer rants in a way that would annoy Kanye.
B. If you've seen it once, there is really no need to do ever do it again. And they've played every festival in mankind the past 2-3 years so Gov Ball just feels late to the party and lazy.
Ah, the classic "I'm going to downvote you because I disagree with your taste in cultural consumption choices". Gets them every time.
To be fair, I just did it because it was funny to me.

I may hate Kanye, but I love all you guys, and music, and music festivals, and distracting myself from a dark and frightening world by spending time on the Internet talking about them. It's none of it worth getting genuinely offended over, as far as I'm concerned.
But, seriously, no Kanye (Sorry. I couldn't help it).
