Based upon the clues at least, this seems like a bit of a departure from past Gov. Ball lineups. Curious to see if the rest of the lineup skews so heavily towards rap/hip-hop.

Those looks more like Meadows.... Or at least a bad version of Meadows
I don't think these are all that surprising. I'm sure they will offer a handful of names that are worth the time, but will those really be enough to make up for 40 more names like these?

Its pretty surprising IMO. I went to Gov Ball both of the last two years and they had enough acts to fill a full day of great music both times, and I have thought that the undercard was the strength of the festival. We know something like 10 acts now and Im not interested in any of them, unless the house clue is The Neighbourhood and not 2 Chainz
Playing Jones Beach and PNC Bank Arts Center so, no, definitely not part of GB lineup.
Ahh yeah, didn't look that far. I just remembered Kesha was "confirmed" via a clue or two.
She could be I guess though these ampitheater tours usually have a hard time selling so I doubt they'd let her play a NYC festival but...maybe it'll build hype for the area dates so who knows.

I'd reserve judgment. I was feeling the same way you guys are, but then I remembered that I saw something like 29 sets last year in full over three days, meaning there were at least twice that many acts performing. So far, we've seen clues for, like, one-sixth of the lineup. I'd certainly prefer if the generally accepted guesses were more names that really get me psyched, but given the fest's track record in terms of putting out lineups I've been able to get a lot out of (last year, for example, when the initial lineup was announced, I didn't feel thrilled, and I ended up having a blast the whole time I was there), I'm now taking a much more optimistic approach.
