Fleetwood Mac already seems to be a thing under the Urban Outfitters crowd.
But I can imagine how massively expensive their booking fee must be.
I remember there being an article (I believe about coachella) where the promoter (I believe PT) was talking about how they always wanted fleetwood mac but could not afford the astronomical booking fee, and at least a range was cited

After playing Classic East last year, I'd imagine they play proper arena shows when they return to NY.
But Classic East wasn't really a festival, and more of an excuse for two babyboomer bands to play in a baseball stadium. Though I agree that an MSG-run makes more financial sense than GovBall.

Agreed, I'm not looking at it as a festival set in the traditional sense. But considering it was a one-off, an MSG run plus shows at Prudential/Colosseum makes more sense.

All this Pearl Jam talk is killing me. They're kind of my favorite band, ever - seeing them play "Alive" on SNL in 1992 was the moment I knew I wanted to play music. I've seen them about 6 times, at present count, but I think a night watching them out on a field on Randall's Island would be really fucking special.
I'm trying so hard not to get my hopes up about it. BUT I WANTS IT.

It'd make the trip worth it for them alone. Already got the flights booked and what not so I'm hoping the lineup isn't a complete shitshow. If it's on par with the past few years it should be just fine. The way these lineups are looking though, I'm just hoping there's a solid rock act in the top 3. Arcade Fire, Pearl Jam, Arctic Monkeys (doubtful I know), Jack White. Something in that ballpark.

Same. You also have to consider 2 things:
• A Pearl Jam GA/Floor ticket at an MSG show costs, like, a full months rent. It'd really be the only chance to see them in a GA setting.
• Half the festival will be kids who don't care about Pearl Jam and will flock to A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie or whomever is playing opposite them. It'll be a full crowd at the main stage but probably easy to get a good spot without getting crushed like how it was for Chance.
I mean, it's hard to say until anything is confirmed. Here are the prime guesses I saw between here and reddit...
1 (Torch) - Maggie Rogers (most likely) or Foster the People 2 (Praying hands) - Tchami, Kesha 3 (5 Grammys) - Khalid or SZA 4 (Leg with anchor tattoo and high-top shoe) - Gaslight Anthem, or Brian Fallon solo 5 (Color wheel) - Jamie xx, Halsey, Kesha (again) 6 (Academic cap) - Third Eye Blind 7 (#000000) - 6lack, Kelechi, the Neighbourhood 8 (Pink house) - 2chainz, the Neighbourhood 9 (Poodle) - everyone seems to be drawing a blank on this one. 10 (Cassette tape with 01/01) - Lil Yachty 11 (Bear - maybe polar?) - Grizzly Bear, Ride 12 (Boom Box) - Sylvan Esso, Green Day, Boombox Cartel
Again, none of these have 100% consensus - they're just the ones I've seen most put out there.
The only one that gets me excited is 11, and I'm almost positive it's neither of them
Grizzly Bear are playing Denmark on the weekend, Dublin on June 4th and there's an indication of them playing Primavera when they aren't in Denmark. Safe to say they will stay at Europe that weekend, will probably end up on the Panorama lineup.
Yeah I hear ya. Just looking back at past lineups, they always have a good mix of rock/rap/female/edm in the top 6. With the way these lineups are looking, I'm worried about what we'll be workin with. Arcade Fire would be a nice start.
Friday: Kendrick Lamar unopposed to close. SZA v Portugal the Man lead-in. Anderson Paak on main stage prior. Saturday: Vampire Weekend v Odesza. Dirty Projectors preheadliner. Sunday: Pearl Jam v Travis Scott. St Vincent and Halsey earlier.

Does Vampire Weekend have a strong following among the younger set?
Live Nation now controls Bowery Ballroom and Mercury Lounge, wonder if any after-shows will now be at those venues.
According to Billboard, they'll be collaborating with Founders, so I'd say probably.
Also this basically separates Live Nation and AEG/Bowery by Manhattan and Brooklyn. I think T5 is the only Bowery venue in Manhattan now until Webster reopens
