If that shared headliner is Arcade Fire than that def works for me. Last Year they shared Tool and Chance so sharing Em and AF wouldn't be that surprising.
Launchpad said something a while ago predicting Arcade Fire would be playing Boston Calling, which would be a logical guess if he knew they were playing GB.
So I repeat, am I right Launchy?
Gov Ball and Boston Calling sharing two headliners in back to back weekends would be pretty lame.
Think last year is a bit different. Tool hadnt done a show in Boston in what 5 years. Arcade Fire played the Garden in September
It's pretty amazing that you could get a ticket to Arcade Fire's MSG show for $25-30 bucks any time you wanted a week before the show. Contrast that with The Killers (half the Killers at that) who are playing MSG next week and the cheapest ticket on Stubhub is $120. New York can be a weird market.

The difference that a good album to tour on will do for you

Then how do you explain The Killers show selling well ?

Not surprising given the sudden memeability of The Killers' Mr Brightside
Ew don't tell me GBall is getting Em and The Killers too. Say it ain't so Launchy.
The Killers played Gov Ball 2 years ago, played T5 and Global Citizen in the Fall, and are about to play 2 huge arena shows. They're also only half a band right now.
“Hoping for a nice small dose of EDM this year....Marshmello was about it last year - would be great to have a Chainsmokers on the menu“ took this off the GB subreddit lol.

I imagine a lot of the rare undercard bookings for Coachella will be exclusive to them but I'd personally like GBall to have some of these acts crossover:
St. Vincent Vince Staples War On Drugs Greta Van Fleet HAIM David Byrne Fleet Foxes Chromeo Chic Jungle BROCKHAMPTON Highly Suspect Portugal. The Man Perfect Circle King Krule Kamasi Washington
Those are just some I could see possibly hitting multiple fests.

Pretty sure Brockhampton will be there based off their GovBall sponsored show. Thinking Portugal The Man also. Doubt APC based off of Tools "poor" attendance last year.

Guessing Vince is out with his two shows with Tyler coming up.
Fleet Foxes are playing Pano.
Chic doesn't feel like something Gov Ball would jump on but maybe they're whoring themselves out this year.

Wanted to throw a mock out there before tomorrow morning. It's killing me that I can't pull the trigger on anything for awhile gonna miss all the day of discounts, here's hoping for some groupon shit. I feel like Gov Ball always has one way out of left field artist, and that's what I can't figure out this year (Childish, Robyn, Bjork, the entire '14 lineup)
