For anyone hoping for David Byrne, he just announced some late July dates in Europe which could mean he's out for Panorama.
They're not directly conflicting, so can't say 100%, but I'd probably give the edge to Gov Ball on having him booked. Which hopefully bodes well for BC/Roo as well
As much as I’d love to see it, I can’t imagine a world in which GovBall books someone like David Byrne in 2018. Nobody in their target demo even knows who he is, do they?
I am part of their demo (at least by age) and I would love for David to be there

So what would the counter-programming on the Honda Stage be to Eminem on the Main Stage?
I think the favorite would be critically-approved rock like Interpol, St Vincent or Brand New (pre-allegations). Or a more recent one like Foster or PTM.
I guess it could also be someone like a Halsey or Odesza/Zedd - but i feel like there'd be too much crossover interest there.
Fleetwood Mac already seems to be a thing under the Urban Outfitters crowd.
But I can imagine how massively expensive their booking fee must be.
I remember there being an article (I believe about coachella) where the promoter (I believe PT) was talking about how they always wanted fleetwood mac but could not afford the astronomical booking fee, and at least a range was cited
Just came across this again, it was actually Glastonbury:

I'm cool with Mumford. I know they've been everywhere but given my fest schedules the last few yrs I haven't seen them since Lolla in '13. Wud def prefer AF, PJ, or Jack White tho.

Them, Jack White or Arctic Monkeys are the most likely candidates imo
Launchpad said something a while ago predicting Arcade Fire would be playing Boston Calling, which would be a logical guess if he knew they were playing GB.

So I repeat, am I right Launchy?

Gov Ball and Boston Calling sharing two headliners in back to back weekends would be pretty lame.
